You pull it out and the kid thinks it's just an awesome stuffy (lot of visual impact, the colors are super bright and the bird is pretty big). Then, when they're about to put it down, you point out the zipper. What's this?? More birds! Babies love pulling them out and stuffing them back in (the zipper is smooth, doesn't scrape). Older children usually line up the birds somewhere close, so it's like the birds are watching them play. It's adorable.
