This is a really great watch! I have named it “Goldie”. Most gold watches are dress watches but this is a gold sport watch which sets it apart from the usual sport watches. A 42 mm case is a large wristwatch and it really stands out versus the usual stainless steel crowd. I highly recommend it for collectors who want something different to wear. The dial is a brilliant shade of blue with a sunray effect. The bracelet while serviceable is typical for this series but in gold plating it looks stunning. I highly recommend it.

I’ve been wanting this watch for a while and finally ordered it. It looks great, looks more expensive than what it is. A rich blue dial and nice gold band. Very nice. It will be my go to watch from here on.

I have several Seiko watches. All of them have been great and I still wear a couple that are many years old. This watch was a disappointment and I returned it.The good...- it looks really good (most Seiko watches do)- it keeps accurate time- it is well built and should last a long timeThe bad...- it is much too thick. This was by far the thickest watch I've ever tried, including some really cheap ones.- it will not run for long without constant wear or a special winder. The documentation says a full winding will keep it running for 41 hours. I couldn't get more than 36 hours (just a day and a half) even with the special winder. I have an older Seiko automatic watch that will run for almost a week even after just normal wearing - in other words, I can wear it Monday to Friday, leave it in the case over the weekend, and it will still be runing on Monday. This new one will quit running by Sunday. Note that the special winder required is one that swings the watch back and forth on a pendulum. The much more common rotating winder will not work - I've tried. The rotating winder works great on my older Seiko automatic watch... big fail for Seiko with this change of design.If you don't mind a thick and heavy watch and you wear it every day then this could be a very nice waych for you. Otherwise, I'd look elsewhere. Maybe one of the Seiko solar watches would be a better option - much thinner, no battery needed and runs for weeks on a full charge even from indoor lighting (I have a couple of them and they're great).

THE COMBINATION OF THIS GORGEOUS BLUE AND BRIGHT GOLD TONE CASE MAKE THIS 5 A PIECE OF SEIKO FANBOY EYECANDY THAT WILL GET THE WRIST TIME IT DESERVES. SUCH A NICE PIECE.

It’s ok, liked it works but feels very light and not like the monster seiko ones
