IYES.TOP Proportional Divider- Perfect proportion with ease!
The media could not be loaded. This tool takes the guesswork out of getting the scaling the right proportions on my drawings for a non-advanced artist like me.You can easily set the scale you need by sliding the lock clip into the desired scale, making it hassle-free to get the right proportions. Just use the small end of the divider to measure the items length, and then use the large end to transfer it onto your drawing surface. Repeat these steps, and you're all set!I love how durable and flexible this tool is. Plus, the ends are well rounded(not sharp) so hasn't damaged any surface or paper I've used it on. The three colored plastic clips (green, red, and blue) are a nice touch – I personally prefer the green one.I got this for a job and was surprised on how much easier it made it. It does the job perfectly, and I've had no issues while using it. If you're looking for a straightforward and effective drawing/scaling tool, this one's definitely worth considering!

Perfect for my needs
I have a VERY nice German-made metal proportional divider with extremely sharp points. I use it to check proportions on my computer or iPad screen against what I'm drawing on paper. I was worried about scratching my screen with the metal one so I bought this plastic one. It works great and won't scratch my computer screen. When measuring longer distances the plastic bends a little bit (because, hey, it's plastic) but I use it mostly for measuring one or two inches so I use the short end that doesn't bend. It doesn't lock so you have to be careful that you keep the angle but I've found it works very well if you stay focused. I'm glad I purchased this.

Great tool for drawing face and body proportions
This tool has helped me a lot to make my drawings the correct proportion. I can take any smaller photo or newspaper photo and make it smaller or larger. Sometimes you just do not catch that something is out of proportion until you have gotten far into the drawing. This tool helps you start the drawing with precision. And I use it through the whole process to make sure I am on track after changes. Such a simple, inexpensive tool that works wonders.

Works Well
The proportional divider works well enough. I am able to enlarge or reduce drawings with reasonable accuracy. The 3 rating is due to its overall flimsy feel in the hand and lack of a way to tighten it sufficiently so that it will not change proportions. It can be done, but it requires easy handling. I expect it is worth the money considering how expensive sturdier appearing models are. I recommend it if it is all you wanted to spend.

It’s a great tool to have in any art space
I purchased this divider for measuring facial proportions in my portrait drawings. They are sturdy, easy to use and accurately measure distances. Not much to say other than they fit the bill for daily drawing use. It’s a great tool to have in any art space, and affordable as well. You will find proportional dividers at prices into the $100s, but other than how they look, they all work and do the same thing the same way. I recommend this one for budget-conscious artists looking to fill this need.

What a Great Tool!!!
What a great find! I found this proportional divider tool by accident while I was watching YouTube videos looking for ways to improve getting my proportions right while painting. I've always checked my model dimensions and compared it with my painting dimensions by using a ruler. Either using centimeters or inches depending on how small or large my subject. I usually convert my picture reference to a painting on a 1:3 scale, using a ruler and counting the segments and multiplying by 3. This was so tedious, especially since after starting to add detail to my painting, I have a tendency to lose sight of my proportions and one ear will be bigger than the other, etc. So, I have to start over and remeasure. This is a problem with painting. So easy to get off scale when you are concentrating on getting the detail correct.I saw this video talking about a proportional divider tool for artists, and the presenter showed how easy it was to use and said that you could find it on Amazon, so I immediately went to Amazon and ordered the tool.It is sooooooooooo easy to use and I no longer have to use a ruler, making sure the ruler doesn't mess up my paint while I measure. I can check and recheck my proportions often in a matter of seconds and I don't have to use math. This ability to check often and so easily ensures that my painting proportions are correct, and I haven't inadvertently changed them. The case that comes with this divider is really snug. I'm hoping that it stretches a bit over time. It comes with extra clips, which is good because if you lose a clip, you'll have another one. This clip is an important part of this tool. The box has a map of the holes as to which one to use depending on the scale you want, so you want to be sure to keep this box for reference. I keep all of these items together in a clear plastic pouch. It would be nice if this would have come with a case that would hold everything as opposed to a case for the divider only. All in all, this divider is a great tool that I recommend for anyone who is interested in improving their painting skill.

Must have took for artists
I used to use a ruler until I ordered this great proportional divider. It is really easy to use. It has nice pointed ends so you can take accurate measurements. It is well made and came with a nice protective case to store it. I have it on my drawing table always. I love it and highly recommend.
