Keeps Everything Neatly Organized
Pros: Keeps solder equipment organized, small, sturdy constructionCons: NoneI ordered this soldering iron holder after dealing with my soldering equipment just kind of laying around for way too long. My soldering jobs were taking ages to complete and usually left a huge mess, so I decided it was time to change that. This stand made everything a heck of a lot easier. It has a place for a soldering iron, a sponge, a brass coil, a spool, and room to add more on to it at a later time. You can position the included components on either side of the stand for right or left-handed use or add more components to it, utilizing both sides of the stand.I prefer using the brass coil over the sponge, so I 3D-printed a soldering iron tip tray that fits inside the sponge tray. This gives me a place to store my various tips easily. I also plan to 3D-print another organizer to attach to the other side of the soldering iron stand that will hold various items like a desoldering pump, a flux pen, and a pair of tweezers. For now, though, the setup I have is working great. I've attached a tin of tip tinner to the base of the solder spool with some Velcro. I also used Velcro to attach the brass coil tray to the front of the stand so it doesn't fall off. This stand saves me a ton of time fussing about with finding and putting away my equipment and keeps everything nicely organized. It's small enough to fit just about anywhere and the construction all-metal and pretty sturdy.Overall, I'd say this soldering iron stand is worth 5 stars. It works like it's supposed to, keeps soldering equipment nicely organized, and is configurable. Hard to go wrong with this one.

Great holder
This is an excellent soldering iron station - very easy to put my iron in. I've used the kind with the spiral-type holder and I thought it was a royal pain! The spiral was constantly coming loose. No problem that way with this station. I didn't add the solder holder and I like the ability to set it up for my needs. My only negative comment is that there are absolutely no instructions with it and I found it a little puzzling to figure out. Common sense finally said this must go there and that must go here but it would have been easier with a hint or two. Also, the tiny tiny screws are hard to work with - I couldn't see any reason for using such tiny ones. Other than that, I'd recommend it.

Excellent!
I was pleasantly surprised at how study and solid the main base iron-dock was! The iron port is all solid metal and firmly attached. Proper assembly wasn't too difficult and only took a few minutes. There are practically no instructions given, but that's not really an issue as it's pretty common sense and self-explanatory from just looking at the product picture. It allows for a multitude of configurations if the owner takes a moment to fiddle around with different ideas. I myself, flipped the accessory holder (solder tubes) upside down and drilled various sized holes with a tiered routing bit, and then attached it with only one screw. This allowed me to angle it as I please and hold multiple items in it, such as pocket-solder tubes , flux pens, and various small instruments. Overall this product is incredible for the price!

Seems sturdily built for hobbyist use
I have used it a small amount, but so far it seems like it's built fairly well. I use a Weller soldering iron, and the tip does fit in the holder, but not well. If I was going into production with this, I wouldn't consider it to be a good enough fit, but for hobby usage it does great. The solder sponge was a bit thin, but I replaced it with a regular kitchen sponge and it's doing fine. The mesh tip cleaner is doing a good job so far.

Sturdy, versatile stand
I really like the how solid this stand is. No more shall I fear my soldering iron tipping over! The default arrangement of the sections as shown in the photo is also the setup I went with. My only complaint is that the solder spindle is simply balanced in place. I some times pull up on the solder spindle and cause it to fall off by accident. For the price ($16 shipped) I have been quite pleased!

Solid Stand
It's a very sturdy stand, MUCH better than no stand or the wobbly spring ones. As mentioned in another review, worth feature is the loose solder spindle. The metal tip cleaner works really well, and really no complaints besides the solder spindle. Would reccommend if you are looking for a sturdy stand.

Kind of a pain to put together.
Really bulky, the instructions we're not helpful at all; I'd consider it worse than Ikea instructions. Overall, it works well as a holder, but the plastic spindle thing is completely useless since there's nothing holding it in place other than the weight of your solder, and the screw holes are really hard to reach with any kind of screwdriver, let alone finding which ones to screw them into, I swear there are screw holes; at least that's what they appear to be, that are just there for "decoration".

Great for the price, excellent customer service
Surprisingly sturdy/solid holder. First the negatives, then the positives:1- Minus 2 stars, 2 reasons: 1- As other reviewers said, the solder spindle isn't attached on its holder (thus it's useless, the tin lead wire wheel can just stand nearby instead, since anyways it doesn't "roll-out" without holding it). 2- I didn't get a sponge, but some kind of an "image" of a sponge on a 1mm thick cardboard-like material, which made me laugh...2- Plus 1 star: there was an error with the shipment as another part was sent (optional mountable metal brackets for holding soldier tips, having the same part nb. on its plastic bag). But SRA responded promptly and sent me the correct item a week later, no fuss nor ill-will arguments to deal with (unlike with another seller), and now I have a tip holder as a bonus... Numéro un A1 thumbs up to SRA Soldering Products Customer Service!Apart from the above point 1 negatives (I simply replaced the sponge, it doesn't cost much at Dollarama for a 1/4" to 1/2" thick sponge that you could cut and stick on the plate with double-sided 3M tape or glue), it really is a solid and superb iron holder, even without its somewhat useless spindle holder, and I recommend it:- thick steel frame of about 15-14 gauge;- 3.5mm rubber stand-offs (real rubber) under both the iron (4x) and spindle (1x) holders, the later having adjustable mounting holes so that the whole stands perfectly balanced with the surface.- I have a Weller Iron and with its collar it fits perfectly well... The iron doesn't touch its cage and stays in line with it at the right angle, for the whole length of the holder's collar.
