Used for a few hours each week with our music equipment. Does what it is supposed to do. Especially satisfied with the extra width between outlets so plugging in cables with larger connectors is not a problem. Just in case some of you are wondering - its just the housing that is made of metal. Not the whole unit. But the metal housing with the mounting holes is sturdy enough to make it perfect for mounting on wood, concrete or metal racks.

I use to use a power plug that went into the outlet that had 6 place and would be flat against the wall - to save space. I got tired of when unplugging 1 thing the whole plug would come out of the socket. I've used surge power strips before but decided with many outlets to use that I needed to go back to surge power strips. I bought 2 of these strips and they work great for what I needed them for.

The construction and wiring inside is pretty good, but I wish the ears were removable without having to cut them off.

Good quality product. I needed a surge protector for my outdoor pond. I like that the ground points short way, not the long way. That way I dont have to fight to plug or unplug something. Price is within reason for the quality. Im always after more cluck for my buck.
