Pricey
This works well with my cacti and succulents but the price is high due to transporting costs no doubt. Having said that it's just as well we don't have volcanoes erupting in the UK.

Great lava rock I use to grow my Alpines in & for cuttings good quality also use as deep top dressing for special bulbs to stop them being over watered ...

Ideal for Bonsai soil mix.
Excellent for mixing in a Bonsai soil . Unlike Akadama this does not break down. So, I use crushed lave along with Akadama and Pumice.I have seen the effects of not providing a loose soil mixture , root rot.You can use gravel/grit , but this is a good size and holds a degree of moisture.

Aquariumbodengrund
Das grobe Lavagestein, dient in meinen Aquarien als untere Bodenschicht. Ich habe mich für dieses Produkt, auf Grund des Preis/Leistungsverhältnis entschieden. Ein Volcano Mineral Produkt einer deutschen Firma kostet wesentlich mehr und es handelt sich quasi um das selbe Produkt. Das Gestein ist grob porös und relativ sauber (waschen würde ich es trotzdem), genau diese Eigenschaften brauche ich für meine Aquarien. Hier können sich Bakterien wunderbar ansiedeln. Für die Aquaristik zu empfehlen.

Top Ware, auch fürs Aquarium
Habe mir den Lava Mulch fürs Aquarium bestellt; vergleicht man die Preise mit einem 5 Litersack Lava in der Aquarien Abteilung, mit den 25 Kilo Lava Mulch hier, fällt man vom Hocker.Die Körnung bleibt bei den 2-8mm.Die einzelnen Steine sehen toll aus und Abrieb entstand bei mir im Sack kaum, bis gar nicht.Versand war beste Klasse. Ich musste die Bestelladresse sogar nachträglich ändern und obwohl das Paket bereits in der entsprechenden Stadt war, hat DPD mir das Paket extra noch nachträglich gratis in eine andere Stadt geliefert. Grandios.
