Lovely leisurely book to read from the comfort of your deckchair, or even your armchair! Inspires us all to slow down and appreciate life in all its details. Mabel, the dog, is just the cutest character. Hoping book 2 will be out soon!

A wonderful read! Chris causes you to fall in love with the highlands, in a way that can only be experienced by starting slow, and then slowing down. Full of humour and “laugh out loud” moments, I enjoyed every page, and know this will be one of those books I return to time and time again.
