Q: Will they work on tile floors with wide grout lines?

They should be fine. Mine were used on wood floors. The tips of the protectors are felted and should be able to slide along the floors and over the grout lines.

Q: Does anyone have experience with these on low pile Berber carpet? My metal chair legs are hard to slide on it.

I have no experience with sliding on carpet but I would think you would want something other than felt bottoms.

Q: I dont understand the size chart. Which would fit a 1.5"x1.0" rectangle?

Based on my purchase, I believe the large would be the only size that could accommodate your rectangular legs at 1.5 inches. They do stretch, but not a lot, and the one-inch square ones that I purchased would never stretch another 1/2 inch. The large ones will be a big wide on the one-inch side, but the longer side of your rectangle leg should hold it on firmly enough. Good luck, and remember that Amazon is great about taking things back if you mis-order.

Hello, put these on in early January for our table chairs. We eat 2 meals a day there plus homework and other activities. So far they are holding up great. They slide on the wooden floor so well, I was at first, worried the littles would slip but no issues so far. The felt seems to last well and I see no wear and tear. I think they'll be a good purchase.
