I'm very new into the world of rockhounding. So far, this hammer has been a great addition to my hobby. The price was right, and it does just what I needed to do. It's strong enough and sturdy enough for what I need. No complaints from me.

I had been looking for a reliable, sturdy and inexpensive prospecting hammer for a few weeks when I found this on Amazon. On paper, it met all of my requirements, it is very rugged and tough, I've already used it to chip away at crevices in rocks in my prospecting adventures and I couldn't be happier with the results it provides. It's 22 ounces, and very strong, I don't need to worry about breaking it, the worst I can see happening is I will need to resharpen the pick after a few years. Other than that, I don't see any issues arising. The handle has a nice, solid rubberized grip to help ensure positive handling while using the hammer/pick, it's non-slip and really cushions the blows against your palm while you're using it. What a massive find, I can't say enough good things about this rock pick/hammer! The one drawback to it is you are only allowed to order one at a time. I wanted two so my wife can have her own while we're out prospecting, but that's not a big deal, I'll just order another one now that this one has arrived and proven itself worthy. Absolutely worth a 5-Star rating all-around!

I was impressed with the super quick service receiving it in only 2 days after ordering it. I was somewhat surprised at the weight but it is a solid and durable rock hammer for a great price. This is the type of tool for anyone into hunting, mining, stone/rock masonry, chipping rock, archaeologist, and prospecting. The other end has a pointed sharp tip which is also handy when chipping rocks etc. The rubber grip makes it easy to handle. Solid lil go getter

I like the size for ease of carry, and has plenty of heft for small jobs. Used this weekend and held up pretty good. Broke up some rock looking for minerals and it held up well. Held it's point and face without bending or spalling off. I purchased mostly for crevassing while out panning and sluicing so didn't need a high dollar pick, and expected it to be mostly chinesium metal, but was pleasantly surprised. Held up as well as the brick hammers I've used in masonry (19 years) will buy another if this one wears out

Not exactly a kids hammer, which it was bought for to go with a geology kit present …. But…. my six year old feels very important with his full size (heavy) rock hammer. It’s legit, not a toy! Needs a responsible user for sure, but very useful!

Really happy with the product brought for a Christmas present for my partner who’s a builder very excited for him to see it! Top quality and item was as described! Good value for money.
