When my 50 year old amp meter stopped working, the search at the Amazon site was on. As a DYI person, I wanted a multi function meter, and this meter is a good choice. I have used it several times now and am pleased to report it appears to perform well and is easy to read the information on the screen. Good value.

Great clamp meter. Item had to be returned coz he was given three gifts from his friend for his birthday. For the price, it’s a great buy and offers more compared to other clamps that costs hundreds of dollars more.

The clamp-on current and voltage meters work very well. I was measuring some low-level currents of 1-5A and it was accurate within about 0.2 A , that's pretty good for a clamp meter with a 600A range. The display is easy to read in both darkness and daylight. It is backlit with good contrast. About the only thing I wished for is that they would have a US version or a switch inside to display temperatures in F instead of C. On the main temperature readout it shows both. It would be cool to have a DIP switch in the battery compartment or something like that to display only F.

Must have for auto mechanic inexpensive and easy to use.

For people who can DIY and understand electrical problems this is a great addition to your tool box. Lots of problems occur with tripped breakers, blown fuses, short circuits, or bad switches. Start learning and doing the repairs yourself to save $$$.

The sensitivity or readings were a bit erratic out of the box. luckily I found this out on last eligible day for returning the item. So positive vibes when I get the new one it will work better. Really like the construction of meter, it's got a nice feel with the ABS blow molded or rubberized case. Love how bright the display is. The screen is black background with white LED numbers so it should be clear day or night. It's got all the basic functions AC/DC voltage & current (purchased it because it can test for DC current) capacitance, resistance and both continuity as well as NCV. Again only giving it a 3 star because it did not work correctly out of the box so will maybe do another review when I get the new meter.

Decent meter for the price - I like that it does DC current with the clamp. I compared it to my NIST traceable calibrated Fluke 8808A and it's spot on! (even for low resistance). The probes are OK - can't complain. The temp sensor came in handy to meter a heat sink (wanted to make sure it wasn't super hot).

The included temperature probe was great for checking the temp difference on vehicle HVAC units. The NCV works well but I always double-check with the probes for safety. I found the readings for AC current to be very consistent and accurate when testing circuits as I work with up to 600V. The DC clamp function was a huge plus if you are testing for battery draw. Overall this unit is amazing for the price point and I would highly suggest it.
