This ArcCaptain TIG torch accessory kit gives you everything you need to setup your torch with either a stubby gas lens or stubby collet body setup. This saves a lot of space compared to a full size collet setup making it easier to work with and maneuver your torch during welding. The quality of the components in this kit is mid-grade for sure but that's to be expected for a low price kit like this. A similar kit like this from a name brand like Furlck would easily run into the >$100 price range. The parts in this kit work fine for the average DIYer needs though the gas coverage probably isn't nearly as smooth as a high quality part. For someone learning TIG technique like me these will work fine for now until I'm ready to invest more in my torch setup.

The products look nice, unfortunately they do not fit a Lincoln Electric PTA17 series torch.

The pyrex cups were not really cups but pyrex tubes, this most likely influence the gas shroud negatively when welding.Everything else seems to be fine and works well.

My new TIG200P welding machine came with a basic WP26 torch and just a few torch accessories so I ordered this kit to round out its capabilities. It comes with a much expanded set of alumina cups, some stubby collets in various sizes to replace the generics that came with the torch, a set of gas lenses and some pyrex cups for the lenses. The gas lenses focus the gas on the weld and help get better welds on materials like stainless and aluminum. They also help reduce gas usage, and the pyrex cups help see the work a bit better.This set comes with #10 glass cups; there's a more expensive set that comes with #12 cups and more collets if you're doing a lot more welding than I am.The parts are good quality but not necessarily great. Everything fits the torch and does what it needs to do so I don't have much in the way of complaints. Given the cost of the machine a set like this should have been included with the torch!
