Over the course of a typical afternoon, I usually have to apply them multiple times - sometimes as much as every half hour or so. When applying so often it builds up and becomes actually uncomfortable. Using this stuff, I apply after lunch once and don't have to do it again all afternoon !!! And, I can't feel it on my lips which I really appreciate.
