As someone who travels a lot, I really wanted something to add a little extra safety for my Alienware laptop. On the way to one of my flights I accidentally dropped my whole bag in an airport parking lot, on hard concrete ground... without this case I doubt my laptop would've survived!

Case is great, I feel that it protects my laptop very well when I travel with it. Traveling can be difficult because it is so large that you need a REALLY big bag to store it in. It doesn't fit into my messenger bag, had to buy a large backpack to carry it. Otherwise, very happy with it.

Bought different cases trying to find the best fit for the Alienware M15 R7. This one fits like a glove and has a secure build to protect the laptop.

Originally bought it for a laptop that was too big. But eventually did find use for it when I started carrying 2 laptops in my bag. Works great and durable. Great protection. Light weight. Just make sure your laptop size and case size are compatible.

soft cases are not crush proof. soft cases are not crush proof. soft cases are not crush proof!I learned this the hard way. I put a macbook inside of this and the screen broke from putting my alienware inside a backpack next to it. Waste of money to buy these types of cases. Sure they're alluring because they're light weight but they just dont do anything. I could just wrap my laptop in a sweater and it would likely be the same result as this case.

My laptop is a bit of a weird size so I was glad when I found a hard laptop sleeve specifically designed for my laptop. It fits in the case but has about two inches of space on the side, which isn't great for drops, which is the whole point of this case for me. You'd think if it's specifically designed for a computer it'd be more of a snug fit. The elastics are nice but again, don't actually keep it in place.I might keep it, I'll keep looking around to see if I can find a better fit though.

This case is not a custom fit as the product information implies, too much left-over space with my M15 R6 inside, the laptop does not slide around in the case though, the rubber on bottom of laptop holds it in place along with two rubberized corner straps. It is a nice and stiff case, not soft and floppy like most laptop sleeves, the zipper is set away from the laptop by a barrier so the zipper will not come in contact while zipping open or close. it is well made, and I trust it to protect my $2,700 investment, I carry it in my backpack being it has no handle even though I do think it would keep my laptop safe in a drop from carry height being a well cushioned case, although I'm not going to be doing any intentional drop tests. I bought it being Alienware case everywhere I looked have been out of stock, I am happy with the purchase being it will serve the purpose of protection very well. Also, it has no inner or outer pockets so if you want to carry anything else in a case this is not for you, it's made only to protect your laptop, so accessories, power supply, and anything else will have to be carried some other way. even though there is room around edges of laptop inside case where pens and other small items could be caried I say NO being they could scratch the laptop.For protection I don't think you can go wrong with buying this case, but I only gave it four stars because it's not the custom fit, I thought it would be from the product description.

Pros: the zipper seems strong, product seems like the walls would be at least water resistant due to being plastic. Very light and slim.Cons: Product feels flimsy all over compared to similar products, and padding is minimal. The pocket shown in the description is instead 2 corner straps, and while they seem fairly sturdy I do not like that style. Finally, HOLY crapbaskets this thing collects animal hair like it’s a friggin’ hair magnet. I have never seen anything like it before, it was crazy. Even if there were no other cons I would seriously be considering returning it due to the fact that it would rapidly transform into a ball of fur. May function better as a pet hair collector.Summary: this seems like it would work okay for taking a laptop back and forth to work in a car just to minimize it rattling around. I need a case that will survive bike commuting to University and that will not require daily vacuuming, and this is not it. Will be returning.
