This is an okay water filter. Does the job and water does taste better overall. Also added a bypass on the fridge so that it filters the ice maker as well as an added layer of filtration and it works pretty good in that aspect as well. The only grip i have is with the size of the filter. For a single filtration unit, it's unnecessarily big. Other than that, it works well.

Pros: comes with all needed hardware and extra adapters in case they are needed.Cons: poorly written instructions, delay to use due to possibly trapped air every time I use it.I'm using this in my master bath and install was pretty easy. I wish they labeled the input/output on the device, it would have made things easier... Installed per instructions and listings photo.Whenever I turn on my cold water, there's 30sec or so of bubbly white water. I'm assuming it's air that gets back into the filter, but I've never had this happen for 3 other brands I've used over the years. Who knows, maybe I got a bad filter?!

Installing the filter was fairly easy and took about 15 minutes to set up completely. After installation, one has to leave the water running for a while so it clears up a bit, but after that, the water filtration quality is quite good. The water doesn't have any off tastes that could affect the flavor. It seems to work as expected. I believe its a good investment.

I've been complaining about my kitchen water tasting funny and I was looking at jugs and stuff since usually the cheaper option. Well I was able to install this easily and it came with ssssooooo much Teflon tape, so you're covered there for sure. When I was installing, my cold water had black in it.... anyways threw this on and ran it, grabbed a glass and there was no after taste, it just was wet water. It's amazing.Preplan where the pipes need to go... hahaha first install didn't reach because inlet was on the far side. But that's my fault fully hahaha
