this works if the patient cant swallow without coughing thickens but there is no taste to it

Bought this to support my brother to be able to drink water during a serious illness. It helped him to drink water in small quantities

I choked on my liquid 2 weeks ago it terrified me my son suggested a thickener for my water I use level 3 it's brilliant put my mind at rest with the level 3 option no more choking or going down the wrong way now I also tried a bit of vimto in a glass and water and then pored ut in and mixed it was lovely and refreshing

Unfortunately this isn’t what was needed but quick delivery and all seems well presented . Getting refund .

Very good to thicken up fluids

Needing to make Level 4 fluids and pureed foods thickeners are necessary but some are not completely satisfactory. This is good with very little lumping, hot or cold, and easy to use. Happy to recommend.

My mum had a stroke many years ago and has recently developed problems with swallowing. Also we were finding it difficult to keep her hydrated as we could not get her to drink sufficient amounts of water. Now we use this product and although it does not change the flavour of the water she obviously enjoys the thicker consistency and is drinking a lot more

This make works better than others, don’t require as much as seems to mix / thicken better much more efficient highly recommend.

This stuff is the best thickener I found for water. It's always going to be a bit cloudy but not as bad as the others.

It can actually be used with less of the powder per serving for the same amount of thickness of you wait long enough. I use 4 scoops for a half gallon of water and wait about a half hour and it's at about nectar thick, maybe slightly thicker. I also use an immersion blender for all mixing and there's no powder left in the liquid. Takes about 10-15 seconds.

For plain water this is the best, but easier if made ahead of time. No taste, stays clear, and doesn’t settle to bottom of glass like Thickit. I make a quart or half gallon with room temp water (or any clear liquid) and stir or shake multiple times until no clumps ,then put in fridge to cool. That way it’s ready at a moments notice if you get thirsty. Thickness doesn’t change much with cooling I say clear liquids because you can see any clumps and be sure you get them dissolved before cooling. I find liquid SimplyThick best for other uses (like thickening a cup of coffee, milk, or bowl of soup at home or at a restaurant) as it takes only 30 seconds to mix and be served and no clumps but makes plain water look “dirty” (cloudy)and unappetizing.

It does what it claims it will do, thicken liquids. Follow the directions or you'll end up with a big glob attached to your spoon. I'm working at making bigger batches of drinks, so not having to do it one by one.
