Light, packable, effective!
Fit is as expected, and it comes with a drawstring waist for adjustment, which is helpful, but they are a bit long on me (I'm 5'3") -- that might be on purpose so that they cover your shoes, though. (I'll probably end up rolling them up once or twice so as not to step on them.) Nice and light, and packable, too. I've worn the matching jacket already and was pleasantly surprised how well it repelled mosquitoes, especially since they usually flock to me in droves! The true test will come when I take the set to Fiji in a few weeks. I'll update if they don't work as expected, but I fully expect them to save me a few pints of blood!

Okay, but not real hiking pants and not worth the cost
These work OKAY for keeping mosquitos away, but not as well as the clothes we sprayed ourselves with Sawyer Permethrin. And the fit is really weird. For hiking pants, the inseam is way too tight. They are cut as casual pants, and the moment you need to get active, you realize they don't allow enough freedom of movement and become uncomfortable with long hiking. Overall, if you are looking for a pair of pants to wear around the patio or cafe that make it LOOK like you are ready to go hiking and will keep away the bugs that get past your zapper, these are for you, but if you want something to actually get outdoors with, keep looking.
