Great book - really well received and another way to maintain the attention during studying and revision.

Simple easy-to-learn modules and good layout, only marred by pointless images of people doing nothing.
In terms of actual mathematical content, the layout of this and its companion book is very good, teaching basics is easy-to-consume modules which are only two pages long; each module also contains half a dozen Q&As for testing understanding. The biggest let-down, however, and why I knocked off a star, is that compared to the later AS level book which is arranged in a similar manner and also makes good use of sections and colours, there are far too many pointless images of people grinning off to one side of the camera or pretending to look interested, which just wastes space: more examples and Q&As would be a far better use of the recovered space.

Do not follow suggested additional purchases
When you select to order the Complete Revision & Practice Workbook the site suggests that people also order the Exam Practice Workbook. The problem is that the contents of the Practice workbook are all contained in the Complete Revision book so you end up with a duplicate. It is also not worth returning the duplicate due to the cost of the postage. Very disappointing.

Good for revision structure and practice questions.
Covers all topics with practice questions for topics, modules and as an exam. It is good for higher level if you already have an understanding of topics and want some revision structure and practice. If you were aiming at 9 then you would need extra to this book in my opinion.
