Ubuntu Musings: The Need for Black Critical Consciousness

This book is a power book of why we need black critical consciousness. This is an idea Dr. Wilson brought to his classroom and more than likely a reason the alleged HBCU Prairie View A&M fought to get rid of him. H didn't teach black students European methods.This book and a book called The Slave Psychology by Tarius Montayj Jones and DazJohnique And'e Jones are the power books the community needs, socially and academically, to start reversing colonialism trends.

I absolutely love the work that he has done and the work he is doing. His work is like a star in a sea of darkness. That star’s light is spreading and will continue to illuminate not only the truth but also the way forward for every black human to learn how to finally and unapologetically fit into our skin. A LOT of research, work, and introspection went into Dr. Wilson’s body of work…I’m here for it!

This book is a must read for anyone interested in the study of African-Centered Psychology.
