Great for multipurpose listening
First impression: heavy, it's all metal and not cheap at all! Great build for the price. Appears to be same as Syba units, but may differ internally. Pros: Windows 10 detected immediately and made it the audio device. You may need to set it as default depending on your system. Decent sound for an inexpensive DAC/AMP with 24 bit, 96 Hz 94 dB. No audible noise or hissing. If you need better like 192 Hz or 112 dB you should be looking at Topping or Schitt dacs at 3 times the price This is perfect for my computer sound system, though. Great controls, volume control is large and smooth. All outputs are on all the time, so you can use multiple devices at the same time. (such as multiple headphones) Love having both 1/4 and 1/8 headphone connections. Have used with both 40- and 50-ohm phones and no problem driving either. Plenty of volume. I use the rear RCA jacks to connect to my powered speakers. Great value for the price. Cons: Uses a micro (not mini) USB connection and it is only USB2. Can still use highest sample rates with mine, though. Since all outlets are active all the time, you need to be able to turn your speaker system off while using headphones or both will play. Need to remember to set Windows sound to utilize higher sample and bit rates. However, front indicator lights will remind you if you don't. Overall evaluation: Perfect for when you want significant upgrade from internal sound, but don't need audiophile caliber. Highly recommend this DAC.

High quality USB DAC at a great price
I bought this to improve sound quality over my motherboard's built-in sound card, and does it ever! Tested streaming quality for 24-bit/96Khz from Amazon Music and reproduction was detailed and faithful, especially in the high and middle ranges, and provided plenty of power to my Beyerdynamic DT-770 headphones. Stereo separation and noise isolation is perfect and gaming with headphones via this DAC yields excellent directionality and staging. I did not test any of the card's input capability, but would feel confident with it as a headphone driver or pre-out to a receiver or any other speaker driver. Near-audiophile quality for the price of a night at the movies, very highly recommended.

Box arrived broken, but amazing product.
The box arrived broken and things inside were moved around and taken out of packaging but everything is still in there. I connected it using usb to my monitor and it worked perfectly. Sound quality is incredible, it's small and very easy to use. Once I read the instructions I knew how to use it, and it looks nice. The LED aren't super bright or distracting and you don't need to install software to use it. I would like it if the instructions had the image of the device with letters and what they do on the same side but it was fine. After using this product for a while I've come back to add to my review. This product is exactly what I needed. Especially with my headphones the bass boosting feature brings out all the sound that I was missing and it can really handle any sound I give it. It's a simple DAC that surprised me with how well it worked. I'd definitely recommend it. Even though my package did come open, nothing was missing and the product didn't have any damage.

Surprising!
I picked up this little guy because I wanted to clean up the audio situation at my sim rig. It checked the boxes for what I needed, dual outputs plus mic input, and only one cable going from the unit to the PC. And the best thing, very affordable. I have my headphones in one output, speakers in the other, and a mic connected. The one thing I was worried about was power output, one reviewer claimed it to be too weak. I can attest that it isn't, unless you're trying to drive crazy high impedance headphones (if you are, you likely aren't looking for dac/amps in this price range to begin with). The first thing I tested was my Fostex T50RP, a planar headphone that's known for being difficult to drive. This unit will do it, and do it well. At full volume it was higher than my comfortable listening level, and there were no blown out ranges or noise floor issues. It sounded great. I have three other dac/amps 2-3x the price of this one, and I'll gladly sell them all in preference of this.

Do not buy for gaming
This thing sucks. It’s advertised for gaming. Your gaming headset mic wont work. This thing also has horrible volume. The max volume needs to be 3x louder than it is.

Significant volume boost and good build quality
I bought this to drive my PC38X headset. This amp definitely delivers a much more amplified volume range. I find that the PC38X tends to run fairly quiet, so this was perfect to provide a needed maximum volume boost. I do find that this amp sacrifices a bit of audio fidelity for pure volume, though. The sound can get MUCH louder but it does lose a bit of cleanness and clarity. It's not enough to truly detract from my listening experience, but if you're a true audiophile you'll likely nice to slight downgrade in sound quality. I didn't expect studio grade sound from this amp, so it works well enough for what I bought it for. It's easy to use, has a nice weight, and the build quality feels sturdy and sleek. The volume knob has a satisfying, silky smooth feel. The three settings feel a bit unnecessary, but it basically lets you switch between a focus on higher notes (treble), a neutral tonal palette (you'll probably just use this one), or a focus on deep bass undertones. Overall, I would NOT recommend buying this at full price. I bought it on sale for a significant discount, and I'm happy with it for the lower price point. It's good quality, simple, and boosts your maximum volume, but you do lose some sound integrity in exchange. For that reason, it's absolutely not worth the higher price point, you'd be better off getting a true audiophile device. At a discount, it's a great option.

My setup is a pc connected to two monitors with a stereo cable from my main monitor to the line in on my pc so that I can mix the audio when I'm playing ps5/steamdeck/switch on my main monitor whilst watching YouTube on my second monitor. I originally had a usb headphone and a soundbar connected to the audio out on my pc. I would then use my streamdeck to change output from headphones to speakers. I have recently invested in some noise cancelling headphones that connect via 3.5mm trs stereo jack, but I have to unplug this for output to the speakers. I also noticed some hum when I moved the mouse. I got this hoping that the output via usb would remove the hum from the mouse movement. This works perfectly. I have this set as the audio out from my pc. My headphones plugged in the front and my speakers in the back and it outputs my pc to both at the same time and has the dial to adjust the volume. The line in on this device will stop the usb input from working, you can't have both at the same time. I'm not an audiophile so the sound quality is good by my standards. The build quality is adequate and so far I have zero problems with it. It takes its power from the USB, so if you just have line in plugged in and no usb, this may be a problem. I have not tested the microphone in. If your headphones have a combined microphone and trrs plug, you may need to purchase a trrs to trs adapter (looks like a Y shaped wire to split the microphone signal from the headphone signal) For my use, this was a great little gamble compared to a much larger sound mixer.
