Super happy with my purchase!!!
I bought this training collar in 2023. I only needed it for about 3 months before, whether he had the collar on or not, I had to just show my beagle I had it in my hand and he would stop what he was doing and give me his full attention. We always kept the silicone covers over the prongs, so he was trained completely with just the beeping and vibration. Last month I took in my mom and dad’s 7 month old German Shephard/Husky/Boxer/Lab mix temporarily while they go through a whole house rebuild due to a house fire. She is already the size of a full grown Shephard and they keep telling me she is a dog but I’m pretty sure she might be a miniature pony disguised as a dog. I don’t know if it is because of her age, or selective hearing, or some other random plausible reason, when she gets hyper focused on something it is ridiculously hard to break her attention from it. It could also be an inherited trait from the German Shepherd she is mixed with? Her looks and mannerisms are all GS but she has the Lab and Boxer big, dumb, goofy personality. She is huge, she is bouncy, she has no spatial awareness for herself or others and she doesn’t listen because she is 7 months old. Lol! I haven’t used this collar in almost 2 years now. It’s been in a drawer. I don’t know what percentage the battery was on when I stopped using it on my Beagle in 2023 but when I got it out last month, Both the remote and the collar fired right up and had half a bar of battery left on both. It’s worked just as well as it did for the three months I used it for in 2023. I still get 2-3 days of usage before I have to charge again. As a matter of fact the reason I’m leaving this review 2 years after I bought this product is because this collar is working so well for me on their puppy that my parents asked me for the link so they can buy one for their Lab. While sending the link to my mom, I realized that this is the third person I have sent a recommendation and link to for this collar and the third person to buy it on my recommendation, I should probably leave a review. Other than a few personal gripes about the remote control design, I have nothing bad to say about this collar. It’s loud enough for it to get her attention when she is barking and the vibration has been powerful enough to get through the ridiculous amount of fur she has that we haven’t even had to take the silicone covers off the prongs to start using the shock feature. I’m super happy with my purchase and I definitely recommend this training collar to anyone who finds themselves here in the Amazon reviews trying to find the right, inexpensive training collar For their dog

It does what it's supposed to do!
After looking over a bunch of dog collars, I decided to give this one a try. I liked that it was reasonably priced, and had the features I was looking for. I like that it has 18 settings for the shock feature, and 8 settings for the vibration. The audible beep has only one volume level which is ok because only the dog needs to hear it, and it's plenty loud for that. At first I just used the beeper to get my dog (Nikko) used to hearing it when he did something I'd rather he not do. He'd stop and move away just hearing the beep, but after a while I had to use the vibration to really get his attention, and he responded very well to the vibration which I would use after a beep that he ignored. Once he got used to getting the vibration right after a beep, he would respond to the beep to avoid getting the vibration which he really did not like. I didn't even need to use the highest setting with the vibration which really isn't all that bad. So with Nikko responding to the beeps and vibration, I didn't even need to use the shock feature. I did however test it on myself just to see how intense it was. On the lowest setting you can barely feel it. I tested it up to about 4 as it got more intense, which I could feel pretty good. I didn't want to see what it felt like on 18 for sure! I can't imagine having to use that much shock on a dog but I did find out that the intensity of the shock depends alot on how much the contacts are pressing on the dogs neck. If there is a weak contact a shock on 10 might not be very intense. However if the contacts are pressed hard against the dogs skin, or the dog is wet he'll get quite a jolt on the same setting, so my advice would be to experiment with your dog first if you really need to use the shock feature.... The collar and the remote both have very good battery life, and the collar is waterproof so no worries about rain or the dog jumping into the pool! I didn't need to contact them, but it appears that the company stands behind their products. I did get an email from them thanking me for purchasing their product. I think this collar was a very good purchase. It did what I expected it to do and it was easy to use. Highly recommend it!

Life changer!!
I love this. I have a (now) 9month old German Shepherd. I tried my hardest to train him without an E-Collar and it didn’t work lol. He out-stubborned me which is super hard to do. Recall was horrendous, listening skills? Out the window. Excessive barking? 24/7. But now??? This collar has helped so much and it’s on all the lowest settings except when there is a higher adrenaline for him. The beeping sound is his warning and he listens automatically. He plays super rough with his dog friends and the collar is so durable it has withstood the biting, clawing, etc. It’s medium/small and is not a nuisance at all. The solid black makes it look like he isn’t even wearing one which is amazing, I love the appearance. We also have a field by us that he can run around in, when I can’t see him, I’ll yell and beep so even when he’s super far, the range is outstanding. Super easy to set up, charge, and work. He’s been wearing it since he was about 6-7 months old and the strap is adjustable. I rarely ever leave reviews but I just HAD to for this. It’s amazing and it has helped us so much.

I wish there were a version without shock
I bought this for my 6-mo old puppy, a Vizsla, who was having problems with barking and jumping up. The training collar has worked wonders - the positive reinforcement tied to the tone (like in clicker training), plus the attention-getting "pressure" of the vibration are all I need. Unfortunately this collar also includes the shock feature, which I don't want to use. That wouldn't be a big deal, but: 1. The prongs dig in to my puppy's neck and leave scar tissue. I've forgotten to take the collar off for 1-2 days at a time a few times now, and scar tissue is forming where the prongs dig in. I really wish there were a version without the harmful prongs that he could just wear throughout the week. 2. The remote is all-or-nothing when it comes to the lock feature. This is understandable, but it means there's no way to deactivate the shock. I suppose I could put the rubber covers over the collar prongs that came with the device, but refer to (1). Over all I would definitely recommend this collar. It's worked great, holds a charge, uses USB 3 to charge, has a clear interface, has a super range, always works; but I'd be even happier recommending (and buying!) a version without the shock. Last thing - I do wish the remote were easier to use "blind" like my samsung TV remote. I would really just want four buttons, plus a lock feature: 2 buttons for dog A, 2 for dog B. Each pair of buttons would be sound and vibration respectively. If you want the ability to dial up and down the vibration or volume hold some combination of buttons to get into a menu mode. If there were just four buttons, I could keep the remote in my pocket and use it by feel. (speaking of which, different textures or concavity changes would help here too). Last, last thing - While I'm asking, may as well add that an iPhone app (for when I don't have the remote with me) would also be great.

Works great
Love this collar. I purchased my first one a couple of years ago when we started camping with our Bulldog. It is easy to use and stays charged for days. Since then I have purchased 3 more.

Great when it works..
The best Amazon shock collar I’ve gotten so far but that’s not saying much! Vibrate and beep consistently work but the problem we’re having is with the shock function. It will choose when it wants to work. Sometimes it is delayed, so if you press it more than once because it’s not working, your dog may end up with multiple shocks at once. Overall for digital display it seems to hold up well. And will also hold a charge pretty well. There’s 3 bars to indicate battery life and have only lost one bar in a week. I also appreciate that both the remote and actual collar is USBC so I’m not trying to find the charger in my pile of cords!

No way to disable the shock option
The shock function is WAY too strong so we definitely won’t use it on our small dog on even the lowest setting. However, there are only two frequencies and no way to turn the shock option off on the collar. We don’t want to run the risk someone else has one on the same frequency and shocks our dog by mistake. Also, their websites are down. Why are you selling products when the manufacturer can’t be contacted? We won’t be putting this on our dog ever. We’ll find one that doesn’t have a shock option at all.
