Can't wait for Vol.2 !
Intellivision was my fav system when I was a kid in the early to mid 80's.Infact I still own it and have a ton of games for it, but haven't dusted it out of the closet in years, so naturally I was excited about this title!I have had the Intellivision Lives on gamecube and franjly, it stunk, mainly because of bad control layout design. This version is GREAT! It uses the bottom touch screen as the old Intellivision controller, a very genius and well thought out creation went into this port.Back in the 80's, one cartridge costs as much as this DS release and there are 60 games. They are very well recreated too. Super Pro Football from 1985 came out sadly after the system was dead and no one really knew about it, it was a great improvement from the first Football game they put out in 1980 (and that wasnr bad either, but it was 2 player game only). I must say that Super Pro Football was way ahead of it's time! It plays alot like TechmoBowl which came out years later. You pick your formation and manually click where 2 WR's are going, or use them as blockers for a Run play. It had FG and Fake FG tries and after a score or at half time, you saw 2 commentators give the stats (no voices tho, just print out), as I said, for a 1985 game from a very basic game console, this game rocked!Super pro Baseball was also a great 1 or 2 player game, again, it came out AFTER the system died and no one ever really got to play it let alone if know there was a newer Baseball game. The games reproduced here look, play and sound like the originals! The great "Advanced Dungeons and Dragons" game is also here, but they remained it prob because of copyright fees. It's now called "Adventure". The rare sequal is also here as well. The classic Space games are all here (well most of them) Astrosmash plays like it always did. The VOICE games are also here (except for TRON, both TRON games are absent). This game title is a EASY 5 stars for anyone who played the classic Intellivision games and wants a piece of their childhood back. It's NOT for the modern gamer thinking this is a nice new release of games, they will be very disappointed in the graphics and game play no doubt.Sadly whats MISSING here are the very BEST Intellivision games. Most were released by Imagic and Activision and even Atari made games for the system few remember under their M games, as well as Coleco made games for the Intellivison and even parker Brothers made a few. Also games licsenced from Data east are missing, the classic and fun "Burger Time" and "Bump N Jump" are not here.I really wish someone would make a deal with Activision (who also owns Imagic now) and dust off those old games and make a Vol.2! I mean it's not like it will sell millions and millions and someone will have been gyped. Some of The very Best games NOT HERE (missing) on this title are....(and would make for a GREAT Vol.2 )..Burger Time...Bump-N-Jump...Atlantis...Demon Attack...Beauty and the Beast...SafeCracker...PacMan...CentiPede...Zaxxon...Donkey Kong...River Raid..Pitfall...LadyBug...Mousetrap...Frog Bog

Game came in excellent condition. Fun retro experience
Game works great on my Nintendo DS Lite handheld unit. I love that I get to try and beat my high score in Astrosmash. It claims to have a high score feature, but that does not seem to work. I'm pretty sure I made the high score, but it isn't saved. As long as you can get past that bug, the rest of the games work flawlessly.

Not as good as it sounds
Games aren't as good as you think they would be. There may be one or two that are entertaining for a minute, but the rest are junk games to make it seem like your getting a good deal.

None of the fun games
Terrible, If I could pick the worst games for the system they would be the ones in this game. These are the games you still find at thrift stores because no one wants them.I guess since most of the fun games were made by 3rd party companies I should have known they wouldn't be included.Waste of money.

Some great games included and some not
Overall, this cartridge has some great Intellivision games with a good control scheme that makes them playable and enjoyable.I was disappointed that some of the extras listed (supplements to the games) were not included although advertised.I am also hoping that bump n' jump could be included into an Intellivision cartridge.Summing it up, the game was well worth the money.

Plenty of classic intellivision games, with authentic gameplay experience
Except of course for the annoyingly temporamental analog pads the original system had. ;)Has all the voice-synthesizer games too. Of course, some of the best games for the Intellivision, were license games like Bump N' Jump, and the Disney Tron games (especially Deadly Discs, my favorite), which are naturally missing. But this is a great collection of some great Intellivision games. Even has Hover Force!

Intellivision Is Now Handheld
If you are over the age of 30 and owned an Intellivision or Atari you will love this game. For those of you who loved the PS 2 Intellivision Lives! version then you'll be happy to know that this port to DS is perfect. Complete with instructions for each game, high scores and virtual "controller cards" Virtual Play has immortalized Intellivision. The DS game comes with over 60 games and seems to be true ports that run smoothly. I noticed a few sounds being off, but nothing I can't live without. I would strongly recommend that if you never owned a classic console (pre-NES) then you probably won't like this. If you want to re-live your childhood memories and spend 6 hours playing Night Stalker or Snafu then this game is for you.
