Order arrived quickly and in good condition. The bark is a really good size and will work for any size orchid plant.

I am pleased with this bark (smaller than normal redwood bark). It's a proper natural redwood color and does not look artificially dyed, and protects the soil of my potted plants. This bag is small and I'd like a much bigger bag.

I rescued a couple of clearance rack orchids from a big box store last summer and recently decided it might be time to look at their roots closer. Sure enough, one was kind of rotted in spots and the other had dried out badly. I decided to clean them up and use fresh bark and this was the one that seemed like it was the best overall choice that wasn't insanely outside my budget. So far they look at lot happier and I have enough I could certainly do another 4-5 similar sized orchids if I wanted to. Will update with any changes in a few months!

Nice little chips I can fit in the pot of Orchid roots. It's only been a couple of weeks but they seem to be liking the chips.

The product was okay really small chip so if you’re looking for big pieces this is not it. Also don’t be like me and check the size this is a tiny bag

I'm new to keeping plants alive and am learning more and more every day. I have a friend who is far more skilled than I and she recommended using a mixture of equal parts potting soil, orchid bark, and perlite. I purchased this orchid bark as I couldn't find any at local retailers. We just talked all of my repotting yesterday and she came to help. It is HER opinion that this bark is not chunky enough. I can confirm the chunks in this bark are not as chunky as Fertilome, so if you prefer chunkier bark this bag may not be for your plants. She and I both felt it was sufficient for my needs; however, I will likely purchase sometime different for the next great repotting. This is good bark, just personal preference.
