Love that it has a hoop for each patterns
If you do embroidery a lot you know that most of the kits don’t come with a hoop for every pattern. This one does. Which is nice because I don’t have to purchase them separately. I use the hoops to hang the finished work on the wall. I love the warm colors pattern is beautiful and print is great make it easy and fun to stitch. It doesn’t come with needle threader tool or a thread cutter but I have those from my previous kits. Overall love this. I just wish the hoops were bamboo material instead of plastic. Bamboo hoops have a better grip on fabric. All and all recommended

Great Beginner lessons
This was a gift for my four nieces to use during the summertime before school starts again. It gives them something to learn to appreciate and to be happy that they can develop a needle work skill.

This is not for an inexperienced beginner
The kit itself came complete with everything stated. The scissors are a bit small and cheap but do cut. I have not used the needles included I opted to use my own. The thread is rough best to use wax or thread magic with it. The fabric is fairly rough and unravels easily. Now these are things I would mostly expect from an inexpensive kit. There are many terms used in the directions that are not standard use for embroidery in the US so it is very confusing and I had to spend a lot of time on the internet and u-tube to figure out how to do the stitches. I’m a fairly seasoned embroidered so for me to not know some of the stitches in a ‘beginner’ kit, says something. My main point is the instructions on how to do the stitches are not very clear on some stitches. Plus the labeling for the picture is not complete, now it might be easier for someone with better eyesight but I doubt it. The reference photo is not large. Now once we get past all of that I have started the 1st one and it is looking good so far but I have not tried any difficult stitches so far. So do I think this is truly a beginner kit no but it is not a bad kit overall it does come with everything needed. I picked it up to keep myself busy and to learn new stitches. I am disappointed with the poor directions and the poor cloth quality. If you want to know the hoop that comes with is a plastic one that has the ridges inside so the fabric doesn’t move, which is a plus for this fabric.

Unexpectedly so much fun!
This is a great beginners set! I decided to explore new creative endeavors for the year to see if I liked any and I got sucked into this right away! The instructions were easy to understand, there was plenty of material to stitch with, and good quality materials, especially for a beginner. The key is to be okay with messing up and undoing some work at the beginning. Once you find a rhythm, you learn to make fewer mistakes, and to appreciate and accept the mistakes that you choose to keep.I took some creative liberty with the colors but I can't believe how comforting embroidery is. I would stitch for hours accompanied by an audiobook and some snacks. I can't wait to start the second design!

Good and bad
First the good--you get hoops for all the pictures, the fabric is a decent quality, plenty of different sized needles. The bad-- the floss is really cheap, like string. I have hundreds of DMC floss skeins so I'm substituting. Also, the directions on the stitches are pretty pitiful I don't need them 'cause I've stitched for years but a beginner might not get it. So look up the stitches on you tube, is my suggestion.

Good quality
I really like the canvas type fabric that comes In these kits. It’s a much stronger fabric than some other ones I’ve tried. Beautiful designs that aren’t overly complicated for the novice embroidery person. Already completed one. Some of the colors were slightly off and didn’t quite look like pic but it was close enough

Unexpectedly great
I wasn't expecting much from an amazon kit but this is actually very nice. The threads are of good quality, the needles are great, the fabrics too. The explanation sheets are detailed enough. This wasy first time doing proper embroidery, this was a great stich sampler / exercise!

Pretty straightforward, lovely finished product
As a beginner, I was excited to receive this beginners' embroidery set. There are 3 different patterns included, with 3 bamboo hoops. The included instructions were pretty good and really helped me get started - I'm really getting the hang of it now and enjoying keeping my hands busy (I'm trying really hard to snack less and this is helping). I had no idea that there were so many different stitches, but the instructions are pretty clear regarding how to execute each stitch type. I'm a pretty visual learner so I also watched some videos on YouTube to watch human hands in action making the stitches. It helped, and I would recommend doing this if you're a first-timer like me. I did throw some cloth into the hoop to do a bunch of practice stitches before starting on the actual embroidery kits, and I'm glad I did as it took a bit of practice and I would have ruined my project learning on there. Because of this, I would say that this set is more for intermediate embroiderers, not true beginners. The pattern comes off of the fabric when you soak it in water after stitching it. I soaked mine in warm water and did have to rub it lightly with my fingers, but all traces of the pattern came off. While I wouldn't recommend this embroidery kit for true beginners, the patterns are a bit complex, this would make an excellent gift for an intermediate embroiderer. Lovely set and beautiful floral patterns.

Well-priced embroidery kit
The embroidery kit was very easy to use, the patterns were very easy to follow, and I was able to finish them individually a week at a time. The colors are beautiful, and it comes with everything you need to get you started. This is a really good pass-time, and the only thing I wish this kit had was more designs to follow. Otherwise, I loved it.
