European Phrase Book (DK Eyewitness Phrase Books)

Covers a wide range of European languages, ideal if using when travelling or learning a language. Purchased 2 of these, 1 for myself the other is birthday gift.

Obviously quite basic in terms of language, but covers everything you will need for getting around, dining, basic conversation, hotels etc. Especially good is the section on food translations, makes eating out a lot easier! Definitely worth it if you're doing quick stays in a number of countries. You wont need much more than a few key words and phrases and its all in here - with easy pronunciation guides too!

This book contains so much for such a small book. It's great for travelling. Rather carrying several different phrase books it's all in the one and it's perfect size for your pocket. I bought this for my partner but now thinking of getting a load more for friends and family who are travellers for Xmas.

Small enough to fit in a pocket but excellent phrase book. Bought as a gift for a friend who is leaving to work for an airline. He was very happy with it as it covers a lot.

Use full book

A good range of words and phrases. My downgrading is as each section is English and ... . I,personally, would like to have seen the languages side by side so that it is easy to see similarities between languages.
