I've only had this for about two weeks, but here's my initial thoughts.Pros:Easy to assemble and useAppears sturdy during initial usesMetal constructionFits my CAP adjustable dumbbellsThe length is great for me, I can do all my deadlifts, squats, etc with ease and it's easy to store. It doesn't weigh much, I just prop it in the corner.Cons:Like other reviewers said, screwing down the nut to secure the dumbbell can be difficult if you have to pinch the two pieces together, there's not much room to hold while screwing. Not a big deal, but can be annoyingQuality of the foam padding to hold the dumbbells secure in the clamps. Not seeing this last very long, it doesn't seem replaceable? Then what? I'm pretty crafty so I'll come up with something, but that area needs some attention.Overall it's a win. I'd buy it again and I hope they address the foam padding in the clamps, offering replaceable options or something, as that is the only area I see that will fail, leaving the dumbbell not secure over time.

The bar arrived damaged. The bolt has been bent and the cover won't close properly. Please package this better. The bar is too heavy for the cheap packaging.

Easy to use, and very well made! I really like that it has steel clamps that hold the dumbbells securely. I've used similar ones with plastic clamps and they've always ended up cracking.I can do many different exercises with it (squat, deadlift, row, bench press, curl, shoulder press, etc)It's great for saving space and money since there's no need to buy additional weight plates like other workout bars. I just use the dumbbells I already have and it keeps from making clutter.The grip is also comfortable and do not slip.

I have this device and another that serves the same purpose, and by far this is the worse of the two.It is just plain poorly manufactured to begin with. I ordered one, and it arrived in unusable condition. The threading on the pipe to connect the two bars was not aligned and I could not get the two parts of the bar to join together. The threading was also bad on the bolts that hold the dumbbells in place.I initiated a return and hoping I could still use the device I had Amazon send me new one, which they did promptly. Unfortunately, even properly functioning, this device still disappoints.This one appealed to me because it has a longer handle than the one I purchased prior, and I read in the comments it would work with my FitRX adjustable dumbbells. These have short handles which are not wide enough for the other dumbbell converter I purchased on Amazon. They do in fact fit, but the difficulty with getting them on and off basically defeats the purpose of an adjustable dumbbell.The clamp wraps around the handle of the dumbbell, and to begin, it just scarcely fits. You don't want these things loose in there, obviously, but to secure the clamp you have to apply pressure on it while you screw on the nut. This is difficult to do, because there is not much to grab onto beyond the area where the nut is threaded down onto the bolt, and you have to turn the nut many times to get a secure fit.In my first use, this put tension on the handle of the dumbbells, which caused one of them to click back five pounds. As I took the bar up, and the dumbbells came out of their racks, the weights caught and I had to go through some fuss just to get it out of the rack. Then I discovered that I had uneven weight on each side, and realized what had happened with the tension clicking the weight handle back 5lbs.And of course, to then change the weight intentionally, one must take the clamp off, which involves unscrewing the nut from the belt, opening the clamp, adjusting the weight, clamping back on, and screwing down again, all while trying to make sure the tightening does not put tension on the handle and click it back 5lbs again.

The bar seems pretty sturdy made of steel. The attachments on the end are welded, so you only have to open one side. I like that.Unfortunately I broke one of the retaining screws. Seems like a bit of paint on the screws that made me torque harder than the screw could handle.Just wondering if there is replacement retaining screws for the end clamps? Thanks!Overall I would recommend this product. Seems solid. The one thing I would improve is the clamps retention. Maybe something quicker, like a quarter turn and it locks? 🤔

I love this product! It is easy to carry around to different rooms to workout in and easy to store and not bulky. The clamps are great to use and this product makes lifting weights fun again. Overall, I would recommend this product for any gym.

The media could not be loaded.  I do not have the space for an Olympic barbell and plates so this item was very convenient. Unfortunately, there is no quality control to ensure that the product is fully operational. Once the 2 bars are tightly attached, the ends do NOT lay flat. While one end is flat, the other sits sideways. Although the ends lay flat once the dumbbells are attached at each end, the bar unscrews and becomes wobbly.I was very pleased with the customer service I received following my complaint to the seller. The third party seller was quick to respond. Although they were unable to reach the seller, they have offered a full refund or a 10% courtesy refund if I wish to keep the item. My rating is a reflection of the product and not the customer service.
