I purchased these for all of my sliding windows. I do have a 10 camera monitored security system but wanted to add even greater security for peace of mind. These adjust perfectly for each window size and seem to be quite sturdy. I highly recommend

I bought this security bar for a basement slider window. I adjusted the product according to the instructions, but because it is in separate pieces, the process is not as easy as I would like. Also, the overall product feels a bit cheap and is not worth the value for the money. The bar fit well in the slider track and does the job. Overall, this is an OK product, but there may be better ones, such as single piece construction, out there.

When we bought our house, we unfortunately discovered that the majority of our window locks did not work, as the house was a previous rental house that didn't have the nicest tenants. Replacing all of our windows was our only option as the locks were not repairable, until we found this product. It is easy to put together and install. It's adjustable depending on your window. We were not able to fully open our windows at all with this in place. I am ordering more for out other windows! I would highly recommend.

Simple to install. I sleep better at night knowing an intruder will have great difficulty breaking into my residence. I may buy more of these in the future.

If you have a sliding glass door someone can jimmy the locks on those with just a quick YouTube video lesson, I know because I broke into my friends sliding glass door (they were locked out) with a Costco card and it only took my one quick google and a couple minutes of low effort. After I realized how unsafe my ground floor apartment with a sliding door facing a main road was, I immediately got a two pack of these for the door and window. It’s easy to use and it is peace of mind you won’t regret. I will say it doesn’t prevent someone from throwing a rock through your door or window if they see something they want so don’t forget to close your blinds when you’re not home. But this safety stick is definitely a good preventative for those quick attempts at breaking and entering.

Works very well, very strong and sturdy. Highly recommend for security.
