Perfect for our needs!
My English Pointer broke her toe so needed to be bandaged for a month of very short walks only, to keep her toe in place! I put a thin piece of cotton wool under the dew claw to prevent that rubbing, then a child’s sock, then vetwrap to keep it all in place. The large boot went on nicely over all of this, keeping her comfy and dry on pavement walks only. The boot toe wore out over the month but pack of four is cheaper than new vet wrap everyday, as it scrapes the pavement when she walks. I would not recommend letting a dog run off the lead in one of these as they slip and could cause further injury, as will the dew claw if its on too tight or too long due to the strap position. Two months on she still has a protruding toe and is on restricted walks but at least the bandage and boot helped with the initial discomfort! I still have two new boots for our next trauma.....Pointers!!!

Sturdy boots - choose a size bigger
Unfortunately I am unable to comment accurately on your product as I had to return them without using them. I have a 13kg cocker spaniel with big shaggy lion paws. I ordered M boots and these were too small. My initial thoughts however are that the boots appear well made and I will be ordering them in L. What I will say is that the Velcro straps are very long and there wasn't enough sticky Velcro stuff to accommodate the long strap

Woody doesn't like it! On with the cone-of-shame!
Poor Woody has a bad foot, so as he always rips the bandages off in seconds we thought we would try this - very easy to put on, fits great with plenty of room for the paw itself, easy to put on even though he doesn't like anyone messing with his feet.Unfortunately, Woody is a bad dog and as soon as your back is turned he tried to get it off - first time it was in seconds, second time we put the strap tighter and it took him a little longer, third time it was even tighter but he still managed it.So, on with his Cone of Shame and he couldn't get to it so it stayed exactly where it should and he just ended up walking around funny, lifting his leg too high and looking silly, but it stayed on and kept his foot clean. So, be prepared for your doggo to do everything he or she can to remove it, and without putting it on so tight that the paw turns blue you may have to put a cone on too, but it works well and I think it will last quite a long time.As for woody, his foot is better and he is glad he doesn't have to walk around like a bad dog with a cone and silly boot on.

These stay on
Nowadays our Springer Spaniel wears one of these on one of his front feet every time he goes for a walk. The Thing with these is that they stay on - often dog boots don't stay on the dog. And if the boot stays on a Springer who runs around like a loon and goes swimming then that's a pretty good recommendation. They have an elastic cuff and an elasticated velcro strap which goes around the ankle, you need to do that up good and tight but he's fine wearing them and shows no signs of discomfort even if he's been out for hours. He's even climbed a Munro wearing one and they seem to grip surprisingly well, even on slippery surfaces. We find that one of these lasts perhaps a week before we need to replace it - say 15 hours on the dog. On him they wear along the edge just above the sole and eventually wear through and start to split. As we want to keep abrasive dirt away from his sore paw we chuck them out at that point although they are actually useable for longer. NB Neither the breathable or the waterproof ones are actually waterproof and if the dog is going swimming the breathable ones are best as the water can run out. The waterproof ones trap it and the dog ends up with a bag of water on the end of its leg. However the waterproof ones are fine for snow or slush. If the dog has a dressing you want to protect then you need to buy a size to suit the bulk of the dressing - at a pinch you can also cut the boot to enable it to open up more and we've found that the breathable sort don't rip. We've found that the combination of a good cohesive bandage and one of these boots over the top of a dressing will keep the dressing dry even if the dog goes swimming. Doesn't get any better than that.

Damaged on a 20 minute walk
These arrived yesterday evening, Used two on my dogs front paws on for a 20 minute walk today and when I removed the shoes they are falling apart already, purchased these as I have had them before a few years ago and they lasted a while, very disappointed as likely be 8n the bin by the end of the week, looked if I could message the seller but there is no link to message the seller and only says you can return if damaged on deliver but I would expect the item to survive 1 short dog walk. if the seller would message me I would appreciate it

Not robust enough for country walks.
My Labrador has osteoarthritis in both front paws. Orthopaedic specialist advised boots to lessen the joint movement. First boots were too rigid and rubbed his joints on the top of his paws. Tried these today and love the stretchy top across his joints and he seemed to get used to them straight away, no silly walking. Went for a typical walk, country lanes, harvested fields and defined footpaths, about an hour. He was limping a lot less so thought all was great only to find when I got home they had rubbed his dew claws and a hole in the front of both boots!

Makes Doggy invisible....or so she thinks.
Nice booties. Fur baby thinks that we can't see her when she wears them and walks around the house where she's not allowed too be.
