Why pay £300 when you can get this at a fraction of the price. It is accurate, especially if you have two or three readings to double check. You also need to be steady otherwise it picks up background trees. A nice addition. A great Xmas present!

It's fine when it works, until it doesn't. Then the fun starts when trying to contact Cigman. There are multiple options of contact methods....that all result in "oh you bought it from Amazon, that outlet has its own support team" Which is as far as I can tell is a hibernating bear that has no access to the internet or a telephone

Probably the best price to performance rangefinder you can find on Amazon. Does exactly the same as my friends' £300 rangefinders for a fraction of the price. The case is pretty nice too, the only thing to improve would be to include a magnetic mount for buggies, but you can grab and aftermarket one for pretty cheap.

Der Entfernungsmesser macht was er soll. Man sollte aber lieber mehrmals über den Fahnenstock peilen, da die Messung gerne mal +/- 5m schwankt, vor allem bei Entfernungen über 150m. Unter 100m kommen aber sehr genaue Ergebnisse raus, vor allem wenn in der Sichtachse oder hinter dem Fahnenstock keine Äste, Gräser o.ä. stehen. Die Akkuleistung ist auch sehr gut. Ich habe den Cigman nach dem Kauf vor einem halben Jahr bisher einmal aufgeladen und verwende ihn seitdem ca. 2x wöchentlich für effektiv 18 Löcher. Negativ ist lediglich, dass ich abends einmal bei leichtem Nebel keine Messung durchführen konnte. Da müssen die Partikel in der Luft wohl den Laser verwirrt haben. Zudem bin ich mit der optischen Leistung der Linse nicht ganz zufrieden, da es Randunschärfen und Farbsäume gibt. Aber damit kann ich leben, ist ja schließlich kein Obketiv für eine Kamera oder ein hochwertiges Fernglas.
