Ladder quite easy to fit for an experienced DIY'er and took me the best part of a day, but I did have to reverse my loft hatch opening and raise the loft floor six inches to miss some pipework which was unfortunately in the way. Bought a catch to go with the ladder as came up as a suggested purchase, but don't do this because there is an adequate catch supplied with the ladder.
