No frills, works great
No frills, and worked fine. I was using this to protect my climbing rope while working solo on route development. It stayed put where the rope was going over the edge, and there's minimal wear on it after a couple of sessions out.

Sturdy
It would be better if it were twice as long.

Misleading pictures
Pictures very misleading, the cover is tiny and won't cover more than like 6 inches of rope

Es muy pequeño

Simple and Effective
Securing my climbing adventures with this heavy-duty PVC marvel has been a game-changer. The simplicity of the design, a robust piece of PVC material enveloped in Velcro, is what caught my attention. No fancy gimmicks, just pure functionality. The craftsmanship is commendable, with the Velcro seamlessly sewn all around the protector. It ensures a snug fit and stays put during the most rigorous climbs. The heavy-duty nature of the material provides the needed protection for the rope, especially when faced with small, sharp edges. However, it's worth noting that this protector truly shines when the rope encounters a static environment. If the rope is subjected to minimal movement on a small, sharp edge, consider it your rope's best friend. The simplicity is its strength, and it excels in scenarios where stability is key.I observed that in situations where there's more dynamic contact, and the rope experiences some play, it might be prudent to invest in multiple units. While it performs admirably in its niche, a few protectors strategically placed can enhance its effectiveness.

Works well ONLY on a fixed stationary rope
Material is very durable, excellent. Velcro stitching leaves more to be desired. After multiple uses, I only use it sporadically at this point. I still keep in my kit in case I run a second rope. I sometimes need the ability to have the rope move inside the sleeve and this sleeve doesn't allow for that at all with bunching together. Also, it's tedious trying to use it with gloves on. Tiny velcro. It's average
