Review: No warning dialog on my Sony DSLR with this one! - I tried a couple of the cheaper brands available to power my camera but this SmallRig brand adapter ended up being the brand that didn't cause the warning popup on the screen about 3rd party batteries. It is worth spending a little extra for the brand and much easier to use day to day. I use it to power my Sony DSLR that I use as a webcam on my PC. It feels well built and I have had no issues using it in a smart switch that I can control from a Stream Deck on my desktop.

I use this dummy battery for my Sony a7iii and it works like a charm. I use my a7iii as a webcam while I'm on discord. The cable does have to bend a bit in order for it to go through the cable door in the original camera. other than that it works fantastic. My camera is on for long gaming periods from 2-4 hours. the brick doesnt weigh much but does a great job for the quality.
