Overall, there is a good amount of false advertising and overstated performances for this high-shear mixer:1) At low speeds, it does not operate continuously, but it “pulses.” These pulses are random. The mixer pauses for a short period of time (from 0.5 sec to 2.0) and then it restarts mixing (for a few seconds). Then, it pauses again, and so on.2) The speed is falsely advertised to be between 200 rpm and 11,000 rpm. My mixer only starts above 3,000 rpm and does not work below 2,000 rpm.3) The central o-ring gets rusty.4) The product web page states it can work continuously for 2 hours. But a sticker on the stand says “no more than 5 minutes.”5) The manual is poorly written as it provides instructions for two different types of mixers. It often refers to a “speed knob” while there is no speed knob on this model.I’ll ask for a replacement.Can you please send me a replacement unit that you have tested and certified that it can operate continually (no pulsing) in the 200-11,000 rpm range? I look forward to receiving your certified mixer.

Purcahsed this item, worked decent for about 4 processes and then the bearing siezed... no spare parts available under warranty even though its less than a year from purchase date. Amazon minion drone India customer service is only concerned with not issuing me a refund rather than addressing my need for a simple replacement part. Do yourself a favor and do not order this item from this seller or you will be sorry!!!!

It's a great homogenizer and the rotor stator works well, but the listed 2 hour run time is not accurate. It's a 50hz 220V motor that they tell you to use a transformer for and "not run for over 5 minutes at a time". The motor runs at 120% speed on the US 60hz power, so it overheats quickly.Another problem, our screen doesn't list the RPM. It turns on and displays a zero, but doesn't change when the motor turns on.All in all it's a functional product but not what is advertised, specifically the 2hr run time.

Great mixer. Cannot run a long time due to hertz, but 5 mins seems to get the job done!

I don't know if we got a dud or if the specs are a little generous. The unit does not want to go above 4000rpm and as it warms up the RPM decrease. When I stopped the unit, smoke started to waft out of the top. It appears it's overloaded but what it's trying to mix is only about 8000cps.

This is my first homogenizer and I love it! It’s sturdy and easy to use. I also noticed that there’s VERY LITTLE air bubbles in my emulsions which makes beautiful creams. It was kinda tricky at first to start it, you just have to hold down the up arrow until it starts and hold down the down arrow to slow down/stop. Very excited to use this, works beautifully. Easy to assemble as well.
