These are the BEST toy box hinges! They were super easy to install and most importantly are self-closing hinges, which is exactly what I wanted so our toy box lid wouldn't slam down on my son's head or fingers. The lid goes down very slow and smooth now. They are also very heavy duty and in my opinion worth every penny!

ordered these hinges a couple months ago and really struggled to make them work. the installation instructions were not even close to being correct. I emailed the company and asked them to correct the problem and save a lot of frustration for future costumers. Just ordered another set and the new set had the correct installation instructions. Worked perfectly the first time. Nice to have customer support that really cares. Great hinges!!!!!!!!

Amazing! I had to modify the sides of my chest but they work perfectly. No more smashed fingers and bumped heads!

These were easy to install and generally a good product. The problem I have is the top I installed them on is 30"x30" 3/4 solid pine and weighs about 20 lbs. The hinge works good for about 3/4 of the travel down, then it slams down. I do not think it is the weight, but the size of the lid. If it was not as deep (30") it would probably work fine. I wish there was a beefier one that you could adjust the tension on. It does not work that great for my application. The screws that attach to the top lid were kind of puny. I replaced them with 1" screws.

Great addition. I got these for my delivery box as the mail people seem to have a time holding the box open with one hand and putting in the package. I was concerned as there wasn’t a way to Mount exactly as directions say. I screwed a couple 2x4’s on the side and top and mounted to them. These work very well. In my case the box stays open until you give it a little push which is great. Then slow all the way down. I will update if they break or what have ya but right now I couldn’t be happier.

Great product. My husband and I built a toy box and installed these hinges to make sure the box does not pinch little fingers. These hinges were super easy to install! Clear instructions with great quality. The lid closer is nice and slow without slamming. Good price. Exceeded expectations!

Works like a charm and very easy to install

This is a toy box that I made, and these soft close hinges work great. They are well-made and easy to install with good directions. Just for reference the top is 3/4”oak 22”x 38“.

Great hinges, works great. Needed 2 on a toy box to stop our little one trapping fingers etc. These stay open 90 degrees and will only slow close at approx 70 degrees. They have perfect stiff resistance if you try to push the lid down, perfect for the little one. Even if you open the lid quickly the hinges stop the lid immediately and slowly shut. I had to try a few different hinges to pick the right one bit very happy with these. I just had to add some plyboard on the inside of the toy box to make it flush to mount the hinges.

These work good on small toy chests and easily adjusted for more or less force required to close the lid. They don’t really have a soft close feature and are more suited to ensure the lid is held open to prevent it from closing unexpectedly.

Instructions are all in Japanese! Thank goodness for the translation app on my phone. Yet to install I hope the quality is ok
