Kerastase Lift Vertige Root-Uplifting Medium Hold Gel, 2.5 Ounce

Excellent product. I have very fine hair and, if I rub a dime size into my roots, I definitely get lift. I follow if with the same amount of Kerastase Forme Fatale Voluptuous Blow Dry and I get plenty of body. Neither product make my hair sticky and I love the feeling I get from the combination. If anything, my hair is a still a bit soft, but holds my styling even after blow drying.

If you are looking for extreme volume and hold, this is probably not the product. I would consider it light hold, but for me that is a good thing! I hate the feeling of "product" in my hair, and this left none of that feeling. It definitely includes silicone too, which allows for a smoother, shiny finish. The best thing I could say is that this is an excellent "blow dry" gel. Perfect for putting in your roots to get a little lift and hold, extending and amplifying the effects of your blowout / style, without leaving a stiff or crunchy feeling.

I really did not need to add another pricy hair product to my routine. Truly. I was actually in the market to cut back when I watched a video product description for a few Kerastase products on joyus. I already was familiar with their wonderful line, but this was new, and the way the stylist discussed using the applicator (placing it along the scalp and following the part from front to back) was really interesting. And the results? Amazing. So I gave it a shot. Wow. I run 3-4 strips from my forehead towards the back while my hair is wet. I do not press hard and overload my head with product but I add the root uplifting gel where I need some volume. Voila! I have full hair that lasts all day long. Mind you, my hair is thicker, but it is so fine. I have struggled to add fullness- not big hair- but fullness. This little bottle does the trick! I realize some say it is very small and it is hard to get enough product to have an effect without using a ton. Try the method I described. While your hair is damp, comp it all back and then pick and create 3-4 "parts" to apply in. Press the applicator to your scalp near your forehead and press the button. Follow it till you reach just past the crown. You will not use any more product than going the traditional route- as long as you don't go too slowly or press to hard on the button. Comb or brush, then style. You will love the results! Cheap? no Worth it? yes. I can't live without it.

Normally I really love Keratase products. But this product was just okay. It is expensive for the size you receive but you only need a small amount. I can't really say that it adds a ton of volume in my hair. I have other products that I think work better then this one. I have fine hair but a lot of it ( for reference). If you are looking for a product that gives nice volume try either Aveda Volumizing tonic or Bumble and Bumble Full. Less expensive options that work better.

Good product. I apply it to my roots with my finger tips before blow drying as shown to me by my hair stylist. Paid just about half what the salon charges from Amazon and shipping was prompt.

Definitely works, but I found it to be really drying to my hair, so much so that I stopped using it. It made my hair look brittle.

After years of looking for a gel that will give body to my very fine hair, this is it. Recommended by my salon owner, but less expensive on Amazon. Apply while hair is still damp (half way through drying), and use just a little. Great stuff.

The best hair gel I have found for fine hair. It gives lift & movement which is soft and bouncy rather than hard & crunchy!

Love it. Was told locally that it was no longer produced and they offered me another kerastase product (which by the way did nothing for my hair) that "replaced" it so I went online to see if I could get it. Very pleased I was able to do so. It actually works with my very fine hair. Interestingly enough I recently saw that the product was back on the shelf of the salon from which I requested it!!

Ich benutze dieses Produkt schon über 1 Jahr und habe es auch schon mehrfach nachbestellt.Ich habe sehr dünne und feine Haare. Dieses Produkt gibt meinen Haaren einen gewissen Stand und ist trotzdem leicht und klebt nicht.Man braucht für eine Behandlung nach der Haarwäsche auf feuchtem Haar ein bis mx. 2 Pumpstöße (also sehr sparsam).Ich bin sehr zufrieden und kann es nur weiter empfehlen.Zu dem Versand muss ich sagen: sehr schnelle Lieferung aber leider nicht in der Originalverpackung (ohne Karton und in Folie ist nicht handelsüblich) dafür einen Punkt abzug.
