Controlled my dog well. She could only move her head which I could control. Able to trim her paw hair and cut her nails quickly. I used the clippers that came with the set and they worked better than the ones I had. This made paw care quick and much less stressful for me and my puppy.

I was most concerned it wouldn't be very sturdy (it is), and the stitching wouldn't hold (it does). The fabric is thick - not flimsy, and the strap is useful. This size should have fit my male but it's a little short where the holes are for his legs, but he can live with it... I have a female dog and female cat it does fit perfectly for -- there was no sense in purchasing two hammocks. The nail clippers were smaller than I thought they'd be, which is great! I've been using tiny cat clippers for the cat and female dog, and then big dog clippers for the male dog, which were too big for him but my tiny clippers were too small... so these are a good size - medium is what I'd call them. They work for all three.

The price is great! I love how it has a strap in the middle to hold my dog in place. However, the fabric is not velcro friendly. While trying to put my dog in the hammock the velcro got suck to the fabric and totally pulled it. There's loose threads all over. Instead of unnecessary accessories, lining that would prevent pulling would have been better. Also, the nail clipper was really small. And I don't use the other accessories that come with this. My dog wasn't able to squirm out of this like other one I bought because of the mid strap.

It's the perfect size for all my small animals from the dogs to the cats and it was very easy to learn to set it up and it holds it's weight cuz I have a fluffy pug and it held him like a cloud , and thclippers I love that it has a part to have a limit of how much nail to put in it , highly recommed this.

Great concept and it probably works for a lot of dogs and their humans. My 15 lb ball of fire bucked and thrashed until he got a paw loose and then he started doing his version of an alligator death roll until he launched himself out of it. He fled to his safe spot under the bed and stayed there for a while. Now he's staring me down and I feel like he's judging me.He's a rescue so I don't know his past with nail trims, but I do know he will do EVERYTHING except bite to keep from getting his nails done.If your dog thinks it's part horse and part alligator, this is NOT for your dog.

It works great! even for my male that weights wound 16 lbs. It allows me to trim his nails without fighting him lol.

When the package came I was initially excited as I saw the hammock came with several grooming tools such as a comb, clippers, and file. However, my excitement quickly faded into disappointment when I actually went to use the contraption on my cats. First and foremost, the hooks that come with the hammock are way too small and seem way too flimsy to safely secure my pet onto, if my cats thrashed around I was concerned about the possibility of them falling out. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY this did not fit my cats at all! When reading the listing it said that XS was good for cats but the leg holes were wayyy too small and close to one another to slip my cat into comfortably. Once I barely squeezed one of them in, they easily escaped out of the hammock and after a whole 15 minute fiasco of trying to make this work only to have them slip out in 5 seconds, we were unsuccessful in clipping our cat's nails and the whole ordeal seemed to only traumatize our cats.

Received item today & tried it. Eazy to use but my little guy didn't mind the harness however when trying to trim his nails he goes nuts. He still tried spinning the thing around. It took me and another to keep him still. Even though my little guy was aking it difficult to do his nails this thing still made it easier to handle him where he wouldnt get injured during the process. My dog was spinning and the harness stayed put, didn't rip or anything. I do like the velcro strip that goes around him for extra protection. I would recommend this item. Only down side was the nail trimmer started out doing a okay job but had to switch to my pair cause they worked better.

Always a struggle trimming my pets nail. But with the harness I can trim my pets nail with ease. Highly recommended.

We let her feet hit until she got used to it then we raised the bar. It was a game changer.. she was used to me doing her front paws but this was a huge help in getting her hind paws clipped.

I bought this hoping nail trimming of our cat would be easier. With two of us wrangling him in it - amid howling and squirming from cat and lots of laughter from us and a few scratches. He was out of it before we got the first nail done.This is a well made item and I am sure it would be great for a dog but unfortunately for and our cat it was a none starter.Wish we had a video it would have been very amusing.
