Free For All: Why The NHS Is Worth Saving

A genuine and balanced book about why we need the NHS. It seems these days everyone likes to moan about our health service, but just imagine not having it! Our health service saw us do better than most other countries through the Covid crisis, and we applauded their efforts. Let’s not lose it we are very lucky to have the NHS.

This moved to the top of my To Be Read Books, and stayed there until it was finished! It's easy to read, full of information and essential for anyone interested in our NHS (which I would guess is the majority of us?). It gives perspective, as well as a sense of urgency, to everything we might need to think about to keep this service Free For All.

Very short read - took me about about two hours. But in that short time Dr Frances explains how the NHS got into the mess its in now, and why its worth saving. As a recently retired doctor - I think his analysis is spot on. Excellent
