I bought both the SAE and Metric because I live in a backwards country that refuses to convert, but I have no regrets about buying both. They give all the sizes that most sets will exclude like 11/16" and 18mm. I might not use them often, but I'll have them when they are needed!

Super solid socket set!!! Say that three times real fast. Have another socket set that's nice but did not have one big enough for a changing of the rod on the water heater. Came up just a little shy. With this new set, I got the exact size for it (1 1/16) and two more that are even bigger. Yes, that's right. The headline for the set says it goes up to 1 1/14. No. It goes to 1 1/4. Easy enough mistake but it might make a big difference on someone's purchasing decision. And these are not likely to crumble on you if you use an air tool with crazy torque. The "impact" in these will make them last. The adapters and extensions that come with the set make it an even better deal. And how about that cool lime green case? Probably glows in the dark. Pluses all around.
