ROYAL CANINDog Food Golden Retriever 25 Dry Mix 12kg

The Vet recommended this as one of the best foods for our breed of dog.I should state that I have not tasted the product myself. However, my Golden Retriever does enjoy it, but judging by the other things he is willing to eat given the opportunity (contents of green waste bin etc) his palate does not appear to be particularly sophisiticated.I have offered samples of the product to other breeds of dog, and they also devour it with enthusiasm with no apparent ill effects, so I would suggest that there are no features that restrict consumption to Golden Retrievers only.

Dog likes it and that's what counts. Expensive though.

Royal Canin foods are quality, no doubt about it. Sadly, the kibble size may have been a little large, as food was left ,making it a very expensive feed. May try a different type of Royal Canin with a smaller kibble size. A great pity!

My retriever would only eat wet food and even though trying dry food, would turn her back on it after a few days. She loves this food, have no issues with her turning her nose up at it. I changed her to this initially because of her scratching more than usual and her coat looking very drab, and having checked her out for fleas etc., realised it could be just down to sensitive skin which this breed is prone to have. After a month, her coat is absolutely tip top condition and no scratching....proof is in the trying....wouldn't use anything else, very impressed.

Very happy with it. Good size bites for a Golden and he eats them without any fuss in contrast with other foods we tried for which we had to add"appetisers ' on top for my dog to eat it. For my 40kg 5 year old Goldie one bag is just the right size for a month. Fast delivery and well packed- delivered to your door at this great price there is nothing more I can ask for.

This is not the first time that I have purchased this product. My dogs seem to enjoy this food and are looking very well on it. I shall, therefore, be continuing to purchase this food from you.

Rice, maize and wheat are not natural food for dogs. Dogs are carnivores and meat should make up the major part of their diet, not cheap grain substitutes. The meat content should be decent quality not reclaimed rubbish, if you love your dog buy the best food you can afford. Do not be guided by branding but by the list of ingredients and do some research on specialist dog food review sites. You may be surprised at what you discover, and remember, your dog is totally dependant on you to make the best choice for him

My Golden Retriever loves it . Have been using it for quite some time now. Will keep buying it .
