Very nice! It even came in a leather type of case. Case flimsy, but happy I have one! Keeps dust and stuff out. Nice and sturdy. Has a heavy weight to it. Very good Quality. I highly recommend.

My old loupe was a folding one I got in college. That design is no longer available, but what I liked about it was that it was small and light. It wasn't the highest magnification, but having something that I could carry in my pocket was a big advantage. This new one, with a light in it, is much heavier and bulkier. I won't be putting it in my pocket and that means I'll have it in fewer places. Already, I had a use for it at a jeweler's, but I didn't bring it because I didn't want the hassle. Now, I'll admit that big and heavy is relative. It probably only weighs 8 ounces, but it's as big as a baseball and I can't help but compare it to my old one. On the flip side, the light is very nice. The glass is very clear. The power of magnification is impressive. So all-in-all, I'd recommend this loupe, only if it's going to sit on your desk.

This is perfect for having a clear view of my stamps. The light on it helps a lot as well.

Battery is short lived. Has to be charged often. Thanks.

If you're buying this just to look at things it will do the job, it seems sturdy and decently made. However the measuring scale on it doesn't seem to correspond to either inches or milimeters so if you are intending to use it for precise measurements it will be useless to you.

This magnifier with two different lights helps me so much on identifying small inscriptions on stamps.
