Takes a bit of effort to install the first time. But it’s manageable and water tastes exactly the same as the Brita filters. The tap water pressure WILL drop significantly though. Consider 3-way tap to both have access to higher pressure for other stuff and to make the cartridge go longer. You don’t need filtered water for the dishes

Installation instructions were not very easy to follow at all. The actual installation, however, is relatively simple - if you have the knowledge/skills/tools to connect up a replacement dishwasher or washing machine to existing plumbing, then you should not have a problem with this - no advanced plumbing skills required. There is a notable difference in reduction in pressure after installation but, as I had decent pressure before, this is not a major problem. Product was bought under £100, which seems good value but replacement cartridges are £85 and I can only find them on the Britta website for now. Good thing is the cartridges last a year. Water tastes like it does from the Britta water filter jugs but with the benefit of coming straight from the tap. Small downsides are that everything through the cold water tap is filtered and there is a reduction in water pressure. No major plumbing was required and so, if we don’t like it or for whatever reason, we can easily reattach the original setup of our tap as it was, or replace with an alternative system with no issues.

I’m no plumber but if you’re comfortable connecting a dishwasher or washing machine, then this will be relatively straightforward. Took me about an hour to install but the instructions were clear.Pressure of the cold water does drop a little but that’s a small price to pay for water without an aftertaste.

Not a bad filter, it really noticeably does drop the water pressure and the plastic reducer connectors are a waste of time and needed to buy some proper brass bsp ones. Fitted the filter in less then 15 mins then the plastic connectors started leaking as well as the inlet pipe, which also has to be replaced. So be prepared to need to spend more replacing the parts supplied.Review update after 2 months of use.Now there is no water pressure, just a trickle of cold water, it now takes 3 minutes to fill a 1 liter bottle. I've tried so much and tricks of the trade to make it work better, but nothing has improved.So now after 2 months I need to replace it with a filter which works. So a complete waste of money.

Bought to free up space in the fridge as we used to have a Brita jug.Naturally in the UK with the mixed sizes of everything, the connecting isn't quite as simple as the images make out.Water still tastes good, but be aware it doesn't filter limescale unlike the jugs with is annoying, plus will reduce water pressure. By about half.

I was quit excited when received the product but it ended up taking us more than a week to finally install the filter due to the faulty one was sent to us. Brita's CS was quite helpful and replaced a new one after contacted them but it still took my husband entire afternoon to install the filter. So if you are not confident at DIY like us you might need a handyman.

J’utilisais le brita A1000 depuis 2 ans. Force est de constaté que brita ne distribue plus (ou à prix prohibitif) les cartouches.J’ai changé pour ce modèle (145€….) et le débit est vraiment trop bas, je n’avais pas autant de perte sur le modèle A1000.Alors certes, le goût de l’eau disparaît mais il ne faut pas être pressé de boire …

It was very easy to assemble. But, it didn’t improve the taste of the water at all. It just reduced the water pressure significantly. I had to send it back yet the seller didn’t issue a correct return label, costing so much time.

El producto a falta de probarlo parece bueno, pero tiene la misma manía de siempre....El grifo de agua fría no es la salida del agua filtrada y como tal deberían de enviar con el producto una derivación en T para conectar los dos grifos....por que en el paquete solo viene una salida de T con un conector no estándar y para el que no existen adaptadores....Ahora toca comprar una T y adaptar .....
