Bulk Sucralose Powder, Zero Calorie Sweetener, 100 g

After giving up sugar and also going low carb I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to replace sweeteners in my diet. I do not use aspartame or saccharin, but I did want something with a low GI impact, versatility for use both in hot or cold drinks and cooking, but most importantly a believable taste. My experimentation ran the gamut of available potions and powders. Stevia, too false. Erythritol, too minty. And so on. I'm familiar with sucralose from years ago in America, where it is more commonly called Splenda and was happy to find the pure form in the UK. I have hit upon a mix that I make at home and it satisfies both my needs and the taste buds of my partner, who prefers the taste of sugar! Sucralose is incredibly sweet, much sweeter than sugar so to temper it I use equal amount of Xylitol and dissolve into a beaker of piping hot water. This handmade bottle can last me well over a month. A few drops sweeten my tea or chosen beverage, it can add the desired sweetness to my dishes and I happily bake too. Unless I mention it, very few people would know that I haven't had sugar in my house in years, so I'm happy that I've hit on a believable DIY 'sugar' that keeps me sated and healthy too.

I love this sweetener, it does not contain the fillers and I am surprised how little is needed to make everything sweet in a keto way. Please, use much less than you think you need and try what you want to sweeten because it really needs getting used to it how powerful this is.

It's a perfectly acceptable sweetener, no bitter taste, and definitely sweeter than sucrose. I'm not sure about 600 times sweeter. I make a smoothie with fruit and veg, which I usually add some spices to for the thermic effect. The spices tend to make the smoothie quite bitter, because I use them in higher volume than you normally would in cooking, so I add the sucralose to balance it out. I add 5g to a serving that works out at 1 litre in total and it's about right, fairly sweet, but not overpoweringly. Based on the 600 times sweeter, it would be the equivalent of me adding 300g of normal granulated sugar and I guarantee it would be a lot sweeter with 300g of sugar in it. Either way, it does the job and for most situations you would use a lot less than 5g at a time, so it works out reasonably economical.

When you consider the fact that sucralose is 600 times sweeter than sugar, weight for weight, this is really quite cost effective as a sugar-free sweetener. It sweetens very effectively, with no unpleasant aftertaste/ chemical flavour, and has no effect on blood sugar levels or insulin production,in addition to not contributing to dental decay. The pure powder format can be a bit hard to use, as it is so concentrated that you only need a tiny quantity at a time, but you soon get used to this and I feel that it is well worth this hassle to get a pure product (not cut with maltodextrin) at a decent price.

Purchased 21/11/25, best before date is 1/1/26 (5 weeks), there's 2000 servings!! So unless I have 50+ servings per day it's going to waste. Total rip off!!!!

As I am writing this I am drinking a cup of cocoa sweetened with this sucralose. I've been using it for 2 weeks now and the thing tastes EXACTLY LIKE SUGAR, without the aftertaste or the gas problems associated with stevia. Only a microscopic amount will do the trick to sweeten your drink and cut down your sugar intake. The pack included a tiny measuring spoon, and to sweeten a cup of cocoa you need only a little less then half, and for tea less than that. Try adding up little by little or you might accidentally overdo it. This 100g of sucralose will last me many months since I will be using it little by little. It is very much worth it if you consider all the overpriced products in the supermarket, made up mostly of fillers. If you don't want to pay a bunch of money just to stay slim then invest in this product.

We have used this product before and like it but we were quite disappointed this time round as the use by date is next month. Just be aware when ordering.

Very powerful sweetener. Only need a tiny bit

In der Packung befindet sich ein winziges Löffelchen (0.5 ml), welches bei mir gestrichen schon ausreicht, um etwa 2-3 Liter selbstgemachten Eistee zu süßen. Kein bitterer Nachgeschmack wie bei Stevia und kein chemischer Nachgeschmack wie bei den gängigen Tafelsüßen aus Natriumcyclamat und Natriumsaccharin.

Exactly as described...I've been using liquid Splenda so I have some of the little squeeze bottles and they're perfect for making a sucralose solution with water. This is a huge money saver as those little bottles are six bucks a pop and I should get way more out of the 50g bag.

Erster Gedanke, so viel für 50g? Okay. Die Süsskraft will ich aber ausprobieren. Einfach nur genial. Eine Messerspitze im Kaffee ist schon zu viel. Daher halten 50g extrem lange und der Preis ist gerechtfertigt!

We were using about a big bag of Splenda a month. This stuff is way more powerful and I estimate the 50g bag will last us for at least 3 months. No weird taste and totally worth the price

I never review anything but this stuff is amazing. I had tried erithritol/stevia and needed so much to sweeten anything it kicked me out of ketosis. This stuff is so sweet you need like 25 MILLIGRAMS for your coffee ; it has been said safe by the fda/etc. And with the quantity they ship it will last forever. A must have.
