Waterproof, comfortable, as advertised
I like the elastic waist and drawstring, they can fit snugly around the waist with a little room in the crotch and legs. There is a comfortable inner lining but the pants still feel lightweight and fairly airy for being waterproof. I did get rained on wearing these and they did in fact keep my underwear dry and dried quickly themselves once out of it. I don't find these to be very stylish and wear them more as utility pants, for working, yardwork, or hiking, but I really like them for these uses. There is a weird seam at the knee that feels unnecessary. The pockets are great, very deep. They've held up well after a couple of washings. Good value at $30.

Decent fit, extremely lightweight, but not exactly "stylish"
Let me start off by saying that these are not what you would expect traditional cargo pants to be. They don't look or feel like cargo pants. They are cargo pants only because of the added pockets- nothing more. I feel like a more accurate description would be scrubs with more pockets. With that being said, I do think that this could be a great option for someone looking for high-activity lightweight and waterproof pants. I could really see this being a solid choice for some occupations like painters. With the pants being a nylon/polyester blend, it adds a decent measure of resistance to liquid stains. The sizing chart also seems to be accurate, a small was my expected size and it matched up pretty well around the waist and the length too.My biggest gripe with this would be the design. I was not expecting it to have such a weird sheen to it that makes it look like your wearing scrubs. While I am not against the idea of scrubs, that gives it a more professional, blue-collar worker type feel. I don't think of scrubs as a fashion piece or "street-wear". I realistically cannot think of many casual settings where I would choose to wear this. Plus the pocket latches/cords/whatever-you-want-to-call-them look pretty tacky in person. I think the main reason that is the case is because the cord is so long that it looks out of place. The material is also VERY thin and feels kind of cheap, although I did not notice any quality control errors such as frayed seams, etc.

Lightweight
I ordered these Zarful cargo pants with the intention of summer hiking in mind. The description calls them "parachute pants," so if you were around in the 80's, the connotation renders a different image than what these are. Perhaps the intention of the verbiage was a reference to the way these pants resemble military jump pants, which usually have multiple cargo pockets on the thighs. Regardless, these pants offer lightweight leg protection from the sun while being thin enough to prevent overheating. The material is more windbreaker-y than the woven jump pants material which is often referred to as "rip stop." I didn't test the claim to water proofness, but I did think the pants resembled long legged swim trunks. The cargo pockets do not have snap or button closures, instead, there are drawstrings with a pressure clamp to keep the top drawn tight to prevent loss of items stored within. I prefer snap closures as the drawstring alters the way the pant leg hangs. There is also a wonky hem just below the knee that also creates an odd hang to the pant leg. Maybe it's just my perception of style and it's supposed to look that way. It does on the Amazon site. The size chart on the site lends advice on what size to order based on waist measurement. I usually wear a 38 relaxed fit, but my waist is actually more like 37. Thus, I ordered the 2XL(!!!???). Too big for me. This is also why I don't like elastic waist bands, the sizing screws up the ability to hold the pants up. Thankfully, there is a drawstring, again akin to swim trunks. Key thing to keep in mind, if relying on the elastic waist only to hold your pants up, don't try to load the cargo pockets with golf balls or collected rocks. You will be giving a show soon enough. For lightweight travel attire, these pants will provide comfort and style without weighing down your backpack or suitcase. Certainly not black-tie affair stuff, but a nice shirt and clean shoes will lend to a nice appearance.

Lightweight and somewhat shiny hiking pants
These pants are made of a synthetic fabric that is very lightweight. They resist water, so would be good for camping or hiking when the weather is unpredictable. The fabric makes a kind of swishing sound when walking around, so don't expect to sneak up on anyone wearing these. The pants are slightly shiny due to the nylon/poly blend. The side pockets are not very deep, but the cargo pockets make up for that with generous space. The cargo pockets have an elastic closure, so they cannot be completely cinched closed. There are no back pockets.I typically wear a 34-36 waist with 32 length and the large size fits me well, with the hem falling just below my ankle when standing.

Very lightweight but not exactly stylish
These pants are very lightweight and breath easily, but they aren't very stylish or attractive. Very good for working outside, fishing, hiking, etc, but not really something I would wear out in town. I was hoping they would be good for international travel, but the synthetic material is too thin and shiny for looking good in a foreign city.

Breakdance pants for hiking and outdoors!
The cargo pants from Zaful are made to be very lightweight, breath easy to keep you comfortable, but also to allow freer range of movement when in the outdoors. I was a little taken aback by just how light these pants are; The style and fabric is similar to that worn by dancers and performers in the late 80s early 90s. The functionality of the pants is great for hiking and just working outdoors, though there is some odd stitching around the knee that can be a bit distracting. Otherwise the pants fit well, and are even a little stretchy and adjustable if you add or lose some weigh around the waist. The cargo pockets are closed by cord as opposed to snaps or clasps, and while that is fine, I would prefer a more secure method of keeping the pockets closed and included items protected. Great pants for whatever you might want them for at a price slightly less than local stores.
