Carter's by DaVinci Colby 6-Drawer Dresser in Washed Natural, Grey, (F11926G)

I bought this dresser for my son’s room and it’s perfect. I originally wanted to buy a dresser from Crate & Barrel Kids but I couldn’t justify the $1200 price tag. I decided to look on Amazon and saw this similar looking dresser for 1/4th of the price.The dresser is sturdy and made with real wood with a white wash. There are four legs with an optional fifth leg to go in the middle of the dresser if you plan on having more than 50 lbs load. The back of the dresser and the bottom of the drawers are compressed wood but it’s not flimsy. The drawers open and close smoothly.I was worried that the drawers wouldn’t open up all the way based on other comments. However, they actually pull out a decent amount.It took approximately 2-3 hours to put together but the instructions were clear and made it easy to put together.Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. It’s actually a very nice piece of furniture that I can foresee us using a long time. Can’t wait to see it in the finished nursery.Another note - DaVinci is made by Million Dollar Baby, the same company that makes higher end brands like Babyletto.

Looks great and happy we bought this for our nursery.Pros:-Appearance. Looks good 👍.-Sturdy and well built.Cons:-Assembly was a little painful and I'm handy. Most pieces need to be connected using hex bolts, but the holes aren't big enough to use a socket attachment or alternate tool, so you pretty much have to use a common hex tool for every bolt. That took a while. I turned on Thursday night football on my iPad and that helped but it definitely took a few solid hours to assemble.-Packaging: Comes in a cardboard box but everything else is styrofoam. And it was SUPER messy. It had broken pieces in a few places so there were small bits of Styrofoam everywhere. This dresser is sturdy and great value but you definitely should plan on vacuuming everything, including the components of the dresser, while assembling. As you know, styrofoam sticks to everything.

We are obsessed with our DiVinci dresser! Very clearly made by parents, for parents! Beautiful color, easy to assemble and fits everything we want it to!

it is smaller than i expected from the photos, but the style is cute and it's pretty sturdy. i think if you're just looking for baby furniture, it is great. the drawers aren't very deep, so i don't think it would be the best option for older kids clothes. i think it's good for babies but doesn't seem to be the type of dresser that a kid could really use for their life.

I put this together by myself in our garage in 2 hours. Instructions were so easy and every part was labeled. Definitely use a drill to put the drawers together if you have one. It will save you a lot of time.The finish matches my babyletto gelato crib perfectly and the light wash is timeless. I know my daughter will use this thing for years to come.I will comment on the wood as others have. It’s a softer wood and will dent if you hit it the wrong way. Most of us don’t beat on our dressers though, so only really something to be weary about when moving and assembling.

It's the perfect natural look I was going for. Very easy to clean. Great for small spaces and very durable.

The delivery was excellent, the packaging was perfect. Everything arrived in one piece and not one scratch on anything. The directions were very easy to follow and it was very simple to assemble. I read a lot of complains about the drawers so I was hesitant to buy it, however after putting it together myself if the drawers are messed up, it’s your fault. You just have to be very careful and check everything is aligned before screwing the screws in. I did find it much easier and faster to use a drill instead of a screwdriver when it came to drilling in the nails for the drawers only. The dresser is extremely sturdy and quite heavy. The drawers slide out nice and easy. I am 18 weeks pregnant and did this on my own in about an hour. The color is beautiful and it’s perfect for a nursery. The drawers are on the smaller side they hold a decent amount but they are not deep however they are perfect for a baby or child. I would definitely buy this dresser again and recommend to anyone.

One of the bolt sleeves was too deep to tighten the bolt to for the side walls, it physically would never catch based off the measurements after spending at least a hour trying to get the bolt in. I had to buy longer bolts from home depot to make it safe. The rest of them catch on by a few threads and I hope that is safe enough for other people but I used the longer bolt just in case since I can’t trust their quality control for a product that a baby will be resting on. Also the manual says to put a wooden peg in the wrong hole.The furniture didn’t come broken at least like some others.
