Review: Added a whole new dimension of sound - First about the seller I am Canadian and these add-on speakerscame from the USA I was concerts out duty and charges by UPS. I contacted the seller and was assured no extra costs to be added to me. Next well packaged no damage. Now my main speakers are not Jameson's and these have 2 pegs that go into a slot for speaker connection. I had to attach wires to them for speaker activation with a clip . Now all connected and turned on my AVR Jumped to YouTube and put on Dolby Atmos music ,short and tests. I am blown away by the extra sound this added to my man cave crystal clear room filling sound. Truly like I'm in a theater. I can say honestly if your your sitting in the fence on buying these take the leap I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Enjoy.
Review: Great add-ons for your Jamo speakers - I purchased these for my friend who already had purchased the Jamo 5.0 set and an amplifier that supports Dolby Atmos. These Atmos speakers will ONLY work with the Jamo 803 Bookshelves, and the 807 and 809 Towers. They sit on top of these speakers, and their audio connectors pass through to the 803, 807 or 809 speakers. That means that you should see two pairs of terminal connectors on the main speakers. One pair is for the Atmos speakers, the other pair is for the main speaker. See the attached picture for details on this. These speakers do a good job providing a slight overhead sound from your seating position. They won’t replace in-ceiling speakers, those are the ideal setup one would want for Atmos overhead sound. But given my friend lives in an apartment, overhead speakers aren’t an option. These are the next best alternative. We tested out the movie Dunkirk, which uses these speakers to great effect. You can hear bullets fly overhead, planes sound like they’re flying over you. It was a nice improvement over his standard 5.0 setup. Another nice thing to note, the 807 speaker grills will actually slide up to cover the Atmos modules as well. It nearly makes it look like a single speaker. It’s a nice touch from the company. They know how to make a good looking speaker. If you already own the Jamo 803, 807 or 809 speakers, do yourself a favor and pick these up while you can. They add just a bit more immersion to movies that have an Atmos soundtrack.

**Q: so if you use these speakers by connecting them to backs of lower speaker how does this speaker receive atmos information?**
A: Elegant metal fasteners atop the S 809, S 807, and S 803 models provide a chic, modern industrial look, but also serve as a connection point for the S 8 ATM Dolby Atmos elevation speaker with it's connectors on the bottom of it. The extra top set of terminals on the back of either of the S 809, S 807, and S 803 models are for the height speaker wire connection from the AV receiver to the speaker.

**Q: could i jump the cables from the main speakers to the "height" connectors and use them like stereo speakers?**
A: Yes you can

**Q: Those modules will increase the 8 ohm to 16 Ohm or maintain the output to 8 Ohm?**
A: impedance remains the same because they use separate inputs.

**Q: Can these units use the industry std banana type plugs? The Sony atmos units don't, and i am frustrated I cant find any to fit.**
A: If you're referring to the Jamo Studio Series 8's as a whole then yes, they accept banana plugs. However , these Atmos units are not stand-alone speakers. They have no speaker line inputs themselves. They are designed as "toppers" for the Studio Series 8 bookshelf/tower speakers. These atmos speakers have pegs on the bottom that plug into the bookshelf/towers. The bookshelf/towers have 2 sets of inputs; one for the main speaker and one for the Atmos toppers

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Small price, big sound

I have had this Atmos speaker for 6 months now. I am running a 5.2.2 all Jamo satellites and dual SVS PB-1000 subs. Make sure you set these up correctly to get the most out of them. After I used The room correction setup on my Denon I soul checked and tweaked the levels using an SPL meter to set the channel levels. So you also have to make sure when setting distance to your main seating area you HAVE to do 2 things. First set the Atmos speaker to Front Dolby and measure the distance from the driver to your ceiling. If you don’t they will not perform correctly. These steps make all the difference in the world. I love my Jamo speakers, I was a little hesitant at first because they were so inexpensive, and they look great. So after doing my homework I gave them a shot, they perform well above their price range, they have a huge soundstage and are crystal clear. So in conclusion you can’t go wrong as long as you play them at a reasonable level 85-100dB peak levels.
