It was just as fun to read as I remembered and my kids emitted it so much they even woke up asking for me to continue reading it because they fell asleep too fast the night before. I love that my kids enjoyed it as much as I did and it was a perfect camp fire book for young kids as it's suspenseful but not technically a ghost story. Wonderful characters and vivid imagery making you feel like you too are experiencing going back to a simpler time.
