Olays good is a good movie

I don't usually do reviews but felt this movie deserves to be watched. It is definitely a five-star film from beginning to ending. It shows the magic of love and friendship. It also shows how we can change our lives to be better people and much happier. I was hoping for a great ending and got it. This film also has a good message for all of us. I know that I will be watching it again and again which I rarely do. The acting was great, and everyone fitted their part. A great family movie and at 73 years old I find that there are few out there anymore. Watch this one, I don't believe you will be disappointed.

I really enjoyed this movie because it pointed out that sometimes we stop living and our job or some other activity becomes our life and we stop living. That is what happened to a young lady in this film who was determined not to be poor when she grew up because she and her brother had such a horrible childhood that haunted her and consumed her as an adult. She worked nearly every day, even through Christmas and lost contact with her brother and his family because work came first. Her only true friend was her job and all the money she made. She had an accident and winds up in heaven. Shirley MacLaine is her supervisor and she is given an assignment to help a man and his niece and her grandparents deal with a difficult situation. There is a surprising twist in the movie that will touch your heart. I felt so happy after this movie ended and that made me so glad I spent the time watching it. I also knew that I really wanted to own it! I know it sounds so predictable and maybe even redundant, but this movie has incredible acting, a great storyline and it reminds us of what is really important in life. It isn't possessions, money, or power that makes a person rich. If you have a life filled with family and friends who love you and who you love as well then you are truly a blessed person and there is nothing richer than that!

Good family Christmas movie.

Interesting story about the consequences of how, what and who you prioritize in your life. A heavenly intervention by a no-nonsense angel sets a workaholic woman on a path she never seriously thought of. Enjoyed the strong cast and some MacLaine "zingers". Family friendly.

Wonderful movie about healing through grief, loss and courage to move forward

We really enjoyed this movie.

I love this movie and all the famous names in the cast. Although I was surprised when it showed up without any packaging and just a sticker on the cover laying on my front porch...I was glad the quality was great and the dvd was in perfect condition!
