Hozelock 1764 EasyClear 6000 All in One Pond Filter

I have had an outdoor pond for years which holds about 3500 ltrs water. I have had a number of pumps in the past but this particular make I have used for over 10 years and have been very happy with the performance.As the previous one has served me for so long and I wanted a more powerful output I went for the 6000 pump instead of the 3000 one I had, and I am delighted with the result.Excellent.

Value for money, reliable, energy saving, crystal clear water.Just remember if having a lot of fish in pond buy a model double the litres of your pond volume.ie if a 3000 litres pond buy at least a 6000 litre pump especially if lots of fish.Have fun watching your fish in crystal clear pond!!

Works ok, needs cleaned out every few days in my pond. Does not seem to make water crystal clear but there could be a number of reasons for that and it has in a few weeks certainly make a difference. My second one and in both there is a thin plastic disc about the size of a 50p that somehow becomes detached inside the pump and can’t be put back on. I cannot see why this should happen or what it’s purpose is and also there was an awful sounding clatter when I ran it prior to putting it in the pond.. I contacted the supplier and he said these were common complaints about the unit. However, he advised not to run it outside of the water and that it would be ok once underwater and to leave the disc out as he didn’t know what the purpose of it was and it worked ok without it.Took his advice on both points and it works ok and always has. I would recommend this pump through long experience but why don’t they just tell you about these anomalies rather than have you try to return them as faulty.

Good quality with prompt delivery

Took a bit of time to work things out instructions not clear or easy to read or understand but I have to say that it’s been in my pond for a week and the water is so much clearer and it’s so easy to clean the filters takes less than 10 mins so overall well worth the money best pond pump I’ve ever had

Arrived earlier than expected. Very easy to install. Pond crystal clear after 2 days use. Replaced old fashioned external filter box and pump with this all in one compact submersible pump.

This pump was a replacement for my previous one of the same make and model which lasted over 8 years.It is easy to clean and maintain. However the plastic mesh bags that contain the filter materials (plastic and pebbles) can tear quite easily so take care. The pump has to be installed by a qualified electrician so that adds to the cost but given the pump’s durability and reliability it is worth it.

Had one of these pumps for a few years till my wife blew it up the new on is working well pond is nice and clear fish seem happy

Sturdy and nice pump. Works perfectly, but has a tendency to build up algea inside the pipe ( at the top). This is a bit difficult to clean

Esta bomba responde a lo descrito, tiene una buena solidez y funciona perfectamente. Totalmente recomendable.

Me ha encantado. Tenía el agua verde y en un día desapareció y el agua quedó cristalina y así sigue.

He comprado éste en sustitución de uno idéntico que me ha durado 5 años, funcionando 12 horas al dia. Yo habría esperado algunos años más de duración. Por lo demás, es excelente por su comodidad de uso, de limpieza de los filtros, y por la presión de agua que genera, que la sube con facilidad medio metro por encima del nivel del agua del estanque para producir una pequeña cascada. Su bombilla interna de luz ultravioleta se nota mucho, con ella las algas apenas crecen, y en su ausencia las algas proliferan a toda velocidad.
