dewpuff is made from fiber from a root vegetable called Konjac., Asian and water. The beautiful simplicity of this facial sponge is that it only contains two ingredients. For thousands of years, Japanese people have been eating a jelly-like konjac fiber called 'kon-nyaku'. Dietary fiber made from Konjac fiber (which is the main ingredient of kon-nyaku foods) has an amazing ability to retain water. This konjac fiber makes an ideal ingredient for moisturizing facial sponges. dewpuff, armed with dietary konjac fiber, is highly moisturizing when soaked in water. Gently massaging moisturized skin with a dewpuff is refreshing and provides a unique exfoliating effect to the skin. Also of note is that the konjac sponge itself is weak in alkaline. When soaked in water and gently applied to the face, the konjac sponge forms a weak alkaline layer of water between the sponge and the skin. This layer of weakly alkaline water naturalizes acidic substances in the skin and allows them to wash away harmlessly without the use of soap providing a soap-less cleansing benefit. dewpuff is perfect for babies, for teens who suffer from acne, and for people of all ages who value an all-natural exfoliating cleanser for the face and other sensitive parts of the body. Boulder Trading offers dewpuff in three colors different – White, black and Asian colored clay. The Puff Sponge is the original pure, white made only of konjac fiber and water. The black beanbag includes an ingredient that provides extra bacteria fighting power from natural bamboo charcoal powder. And lastly the Colored Asian Orange Clay Puff, provides natural Asian Yellow known to increase the absorption power of soil dust to the puff.

Great exfoliate
These are awesome! I just wet it and use the sponge to exfoliate my face in the am and pm. It’s so soft and gentle. It feels almost soapy when wet, so I don’t even need to add a face wash to it. The only thing is that after a month of using, it does lose it’s shape and it becomes hard as a rock. Minus one star for its longevity.

Thin, but not bad.
I went from the Boscia Konjac sponge to these; I liked the Boscia but felt it was very expensive for what it does. These sponges are comparable in terms of cleansing and exfoliating. Be aware that these are extremely thin (about 1/4"), are somewhat difficult to hold, and wear out faster than the Boscia. Don't get me wrong, these are not bad and if you haven't used the Boscia you may not have any complaints about these at all. I will probably continue to use these since they are much less expensive and still do the job well enough.

Great for acne! Natural and gentle exfoliation!
Love this sponge! My aesthetician recommended it for my daughter who has comedonal acne. The sponge is like a rock when you open it. You wet the sponge, squeeze it out gently and take your regular face wash and lather your face. Then use the sponge to keeping lathering the soap, getting in the nooks and crannies of your face. The sponge exfoliates your skin gently. I have watched my daughters acne and comedones disappear! Her skin needs cell turnover so this sponge does just that. She then uses differin gel afterwards at night which also helps.Use this sponge every time you wash your face. It has a string on it and needs to be hung up to dry at all times, otherwise it will tear and dissolve. Konjac is a root so it will tear easily. Go ahead and order the three pack since they do not last more than a month or so. This is a life saver, order now!
