WaterwiseDeluxe Showerwise Filtration System (1195)

Easy to install. Noticed a difference immediately! Our water is so hard that my hair color turns brassy and brittle and I never feel like anything is getting clean. So, short of installing a purification system on the whole house, I mitigate the situation by using a countertop Waterwise purifier for drinking water, Calgon in my washing machine, Lemonshine in my dishwasher and Waterwise in my shower.

I am very happy with the product and it's effectiveness. It did what it was DESIGNED TO DO! The yellowish colors that were evidence of the metal deposits that were frequent to my shower area did not come back for almost ten months. (This was my clue that my filter needed a replacement.) I removed and opened the filter to test the theory, and sure enough, it was overflowing with deposits of all sorts. Wow! The filter lasted me about 10 months, but I was not disappointed, because I had seen the physical evidence of what it can and does do as I live in a city where the municipal water is TERRIBLE! (Know you water, and judge the filter with that knowledge.) Also, I shower twice a day for about 20 minutes each time, and use the shower water when I water my potted plants. YES, my dry itchy skin had also disappeared in a short period of time!

I actually bought a showerwise filter/housing and head at a thrift shop I was in originally because we are on a well had have sulfur it worked very well and got rid of most of the rotten egg smell which we were surprised. Then came time to replace the used filter. I ordered just the filter with out much research, but unfortunately showerwise changed their filter and housing so the older style house DO NOT fit the new filters. So I ended up having to order this whole new filter/housing and head. We were disappointed, but it does work better than anything else we had tried so had to have it. Just for comparison are water is 14,000 PPM yes you read that right this did not take out the brown color, but makes the smell so much better.

About two months ago I purchased this system to install in my shower because I noticed that the water color and smell was getting worse. Since then I have noticed that my skin is not as dry and itchy after the shower as it used to be, my hair is much shinier, lighter and I can easily go without washing it for 4-5 days. Before installing this filter I had to wash my hair almost every other day, it looked grease even tho I rarely used any hair products other than shampoo. I am still using the same shampoo and the only thing I changed is installing this filter. However the change in the way my hair looks and feels is huge. Definitely a keeper.

After we moved to a home with public water, our scalps were getting itchy. I purchased this and the itch went away. I was happy with delivery and we have been very happy with the purchase. But we've only had it for 2 months and we're already starting to itch again. This filter is supposed to last a year. I don't think I want to pay for a new filter so often. They're pretty expensive. I would have given this 5 STARS if it lasted as advertised...but I can't.Sincerely,Itchy and DisappointedUPDATE: I can't explain why the first filter didn't work but I took a chance and bought another one and it worked much better. I changed the rating from 3 to 4.

The water quality was better after we started using this product. The problem is that after investing over $60 just for the product and we also ordered an extra filter. I would think that it would last longer than 8 or 9 months. The filter canister cracked along the seam and sprayed water in all directions. WE are hoping to get a replacement. However not sure whom to contact. After ready other reviews I am hoping that the manufacturer has improved the quality.We contacted the company and they sent a new canister with out any issues,installed the new and it works fine. They do stand behind the warranty.

I've been using this Showerwise filter for my shower for years. It makes a huge difference with your water quality and what goes on and absorbed in your body. The last one I bought cracked and sprung a leak after a while, that's the first time that has happened but I'm still giving this 5 stars. The reason is simple, after we started showering without it, there was a noticable difference, dryer skin, changed the texture of our hair, bottom line, without this filter you're showering with crappy water. With it, it's like showering with Evian water! Skin and hair are smooth and not dried out. Worth it, buy it.

I bought this a year ago and purchased a new filter for it this year. Trouble is I could not get it to unscrew to change the filter cartridge. Nor could my boyfriend nor could my contractor. I did apply lubricant before I installed it. I emailed customer service several times e we it’s no reply. I ended up have to buy a new system. Thumbs down

Works great, eliminates chemicals

Wish I had known about this product years ago. Glass doors of the shower much easier to keep clean. Most important my wife is extremely happy as her hair does not frizz.

I just love it. The smell of clorine is gone and the water pressure is terrific,Great product. I bought a second one for my second home in Florida.
