The holesaw grinds through porcelain wall tiles easily.
i use dthe hole saw on porcelain wall tiles and it works very well. I use plenty of water as a lubricant and hopefully the holes saw will last for quite a while.

Works well
It was more sturdy than I expected, and I was able to use it to drill the hole on my granite countertop to install the RO system. Good deal for the quality!

Perfect for drilling a granite countertop
Need another hole in your granite countertop? Here's how to do it perfectly right the first time:1. Put blue painters tape around the area where you want the hole.2. Mark the tape with guidelines and measure and mark the exact center of the hole.3. Poke an awl or nail through tape at the drill point, now your drill bit won't slip around.4. Add water to area, and position drill bit.5. Start drilling, wetting bit, until the circular teeth are biting through the counter top about 1/8 inch or so.6. Use hex wrench to loosen and remove the pilot bit from the drill bit.7. Return to drilling hole, dipping in water every 30-60 seconds, until it breaks through. (about 3-5 minutes)8. If you have a plywood backer board under the granite, change to a wood cutting drill bit to finish the job.Enjoy your new hole,

Broke very quickly
First time I used the hole saw it started out to drill perfectly through my 4" concrete slap. I took care to clean out the middle of the hole saw, so the rim could always drill a little deeper. Close to getting though the concrete the part which is chucked inside the drill just snapped off. Bummer!

Hole in Quarts Counter Top for soap dispenser
Worked great for the one hole I needed. I used stainless plumbers putty to build a wall around the whole to put water in it to keep it cool. I had to pull it out every few seconds to let the water flow down into the cut. One time it started smoking so I must have not been letting the water into the cut enough. I was worried it would not last for one cut but it did fine with no visible signs of wear on the bit. Much more expensive hole saws at Home Depot and Lowes but they are probably for people wanting to cut many holes. I just needed one hole and may never use it again.

Keep it slow & wet
I drilled a one inch & quarter deep hole in granite countertop with no problem at all. Tips: carefully mark starting point of drill tip by etching location, drill slowly, keep spraying water, have someone help check that drill is upright! Takes a while but was perfect. Great value for money too.
